It's my blog so I can toot my own horn, but when Hazelwood East scores on the final play to win the state title after 11:00pm on Friday the only station there to witness it was FOX2. Covering prep sports is hard. No matter how much you do some one whines and complains that you're not covering their school or their kid. We even got a call from a woman who was complaing we weren't giving enough credit to the kids playing in the 3rd place game in the soccer playoffs. The 3rd place game? Please. Listen, we care about high school sports and we do more as much as any other big-market team in the country. Nuff said..

SportsDoc, FoxSports Midwest did not broadcast the last 5-6 minutes of the Hazelwood East game. Do you know where I can find it? I went to the game and DVR'd it only to be disappointed that I would not get a chance to witness that spectacular ending again.

Congrats to the Hazelwoods' teams...but hey,why did they move down to play in a different class? And let's see if they cover any girl sports(besides the finals or basketball),wrestling,hockey,volleyball. Unless it's football or basketball,your outta luck.
