Not totally established to salute America's workforce.... It was established by America's workforce to raise awareness..... It began with a parade in New York and grew from there.....

After 30 years in manufacturing I can say that I am now in a job that fits me..... I love working at the schools and working with the kids....... It's when the past and the future come together.......

Love my job! In transportation/ Logistics I get to speak to the entire spectrum of people from the executives who buy into our program, to the warehouse people who get the freight ready, to the driver who picks it up, and in the end, the happy receiver.

Being a link in the chain reaction that gets product on the shelves to people is a very rewarding feeling. I walk into the store and know that product is there because I did my job well. :o)

Happy...?

Just Happy to have a Job and Put Food on the Table...Happines in Work is one of those Ideas that came about because we have easy lives of Plenty. Ask those that went through the Depression....heck ask the Guys in India that are Panning for Gold in the Sewer...ew.. (it's a Story on ABCNews I think...ick..) ...

People should be happy to work..happy to provide for their family...everything else is a Plus.....leave work at work..and what you do won't matter.. As long as you do the Best you can For your families survival..that is what makes me happy..Knowing that we have Food and Shelter and can afford some extra things ..Good Schools....without having to fight someone for it..or Kill to get it..that is what I am Happy about...We are Blessed..but most wouldn't know it...because they are too busy whining about what they don't have...instead of being thankful for what they do.

Not changing now..having to much fun in the work i do, the people i meet and the connections i can make. There's days i get burned out on horseshoeing, but everyone does with any job...i just do some stuff for myself here on the ranch, work with my own horses and don't answer the phones for a couple of days. I use to get the blues about shoeing too and complain that i have to shoe horses til one day i started to tell myself that i got horses to shoe. Its all about attitude and how you look at things. Have to agree with Patch...people do need to work to feel good about providing for their familes and for themselves. And to quit the whining....heck when we got married we had nothing, i mean nothing....and built a very successful life and family over the years, because we worked for it!
