Okay, this probably seems strange to some of you... but I'm interested in finding  a duck hunting lease in Missouri.  Is this even possible? Not a big Duck Club or anything like that.  My  son loves to hunt... and property to hunt on  is getting tougher and tougher to find.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Future Mom of the Year. LOL.

A friend of ours leases land in Truxton and uses it for goose hunting......Portage is a good duck hunting area. Check out some of the St. Charles County farm areas northern part of town or even rural St. Peters.

Husband DRIVES ME NUTS!!!! with duck hunting, and I have several feathery friends hanging on the wall, I keep telling my husband they will be flying South someday when he least expects it.

Missouri Department of Conservation website may have some good information. I do believe your MOTY nomination is in.

I anchor the 6 p.m. newscast and love being a part of the Fox 2 News Team. When I'm not anchoring the news, I'm trying to keep up with my two teenaged sons. (All the warnings about teenagers are true!) Just kidding, boys! I feel very fortunate to have such great kids... including my two step-daughters. My wonderful husband, who's also in the biz, is extremely talented and supportive of everything I do. I'm a huge animal lover. I have two dogs, a horse and a cockatiel. But, as a kid my pets included rabbits, goats, a racoon and a skunk! (I grew up in the Ozarks). I've traveled quite a bit, met with some famous celebrities and even been to a goat roping or two, so we have lots to blog about!
