If you want some more information about the promotion issues in the St. Louis City Fire Departments, here is a link to KMOX and go to Charlie Brennans interviews (left side of page halfway down). There are several. One done today was with the head of the testing company. On 8-6-07 an interview was conducted between the black firefighter group FIRE and the only barganning party for the firefighters Local 73.

Believe me... listen, absorb, think rationally. You will come to the right conclusion.

Allow about 30-45 minutes to listen to all of the interviews.

I know. We maybe need to have Rev. Billy Graham come to town to support us. But then again, this isn't a matter or religion so I think it's pointless that the AA religious leaders try to take a stand.

I truly think that if some important quotes are passed out in the tv news people will understand more. I think that the lay public is getting tired of it and thinks it doesn't effect them.

Firefighter 12

You opined:"lay public is getting tired of it"

You really have no idea what the public thinks.
they have such short memories.
Unless they see it on the BOOOOB TUBE it don't happen. Sad to say.

What I want to know is when is someone going to write to the editor of the post and call George his true name? "BLACK RACIST"

12,
How many of FIRE's E-Board members finished high enough on the eligibility lists to get promoted to BC and Captain?

I don't know the correct numbers between FIRE and the Capt. list. But I do know that on the BC test that #1 is black, #2 is a white female, I think #4 is black, #6 is not white or black.

Again, if anyone has doubts about blacks in command positions, just look at who's inside FD heaquarters. Most of everyone who works in there and wheres a white shirt and a gold badge is not of the caucasian race. But news outlets like the SLT UNamerican won't tell you that.

Chief George is a member of FIRE.
Roughly 6 Chief positions are from FIRE.
There are numerous black captains who are members of FIRE.

FIRE is upset because they studied OR planned for one test and the actual test was another. You continuously hear the chief speaking about how he recommended testing companines. But that is not his job/responsibility. It is the job of personnel. It's sad when you fail an open book test isn't it?

I also cant wait to see what the results and make up is for the new hiring tests that the city just implemented for new recruits. They are math based, human relations and memorization and recognition. Can't wait to hear the biased and the "CARDS" being tossed around.

Im a local Firefighter, who has grown up in St. Louis. I lived and worked in the city for a number of years. I love to do just about anything, especially helping others. I work hard, don't get paid the best, but I get food on the table. It's about helping the fellow person. And I fight for equality of the majority.
