Let's do the HAPPY DANCE!  It has been an emotional week of not knowing the outcome of the interview, but today, I received the offer.  All is well.  When I accepted this one, I had to reject (change my mind) on the previous offer.

My husband and I continuously argue over the temperature in our home.  He turns it hotter, I turn it cooler in the summer.  In the winter, we are also opposite...he turns it cooler and I turn it hotter.

What is the right temperature for a home in the winter and summer?  I like it at 72 degrees in both seasons.  We have a two story home so it is always hotter upstairs.  Anyway, our poor airconditioner...it does not know what to do.

Tell me, would'nt it be better to have a consistent temperature setting so the thing does not work sparatically and we make it go up and down.  He walks by it and changes it as soon as he walks away, I change it back and as soon as I walk away, he changes it back.  ISN'T THIS RETARDED?

I took advise and followed it.  I accepted the job (the one I really do not want) because it was a confirmed offer.  Now I sit and wait to see if another offer comes (from the job I really DO want).  Will I get it or not?????????????  This is driving me crazy! 

Why is the unknow so bothersome?  Why does it take so long to get an answer? 

Thanks for letting me vent my frustration.  Can you tell I have nothing else to do at the moment but sit and worrry about it?  I need another job...THE ONE I WANT.

but I went on another interview for another job.  There were 30 applicants, they interviewed 3--I was one of the three.  Here is the delima...I have until Monday, 18 June to make a decision on the offer.  I have not received an offer for the one I interviewed today, which I'd rather have.

Is it wrong to accept the one offer and reject it if another offer comes next week?  Sould I turn it down in anticipation of the other offer...what if I don't get the other offer? 

To accept or not accept and wait...that is the question.

BTW--my boss is on vacation until 20 June. LOL!
