No matter which party wins the Presidential election obviously history will be made. Either, first African-American President or first female vice-president.
Obama's watch party election night is in Chicago. Not too far away.
Anyone planning to go to the Windy City for election night?

i wonder what percentage of americans wait until the last minute to file taxes.
i like to get them done. i would think the people who wait would probably be the people who owe.
otherwise it seems people would want to get their money returned from the feds.

I am amazed at how different high water along the rivers is affecting communities. Even though this flood is no where near the flood of '93 it's similar to other spring floods in the pastand yet few homes and businesses will be damaged. The government bought up lots of properties since the great flood and that seems to have worked or will work when the crest comes down stream. Check out my stories on the news tab at myfoxstl.com

Students at Whitfield School in Creve Coeur received a threatening and obscene e-mail just hours after the shootings at Virginia Tech. Police are praising the Whitfield educators for the way they handled the event. At this point no one knows who's responsible for the threat. Check out my story and you can also find a link to the letters the school president sent home to parents as well as other links jam-packed with information.

Take a look at my story from Thursday night. Olivette police got pretty good video of a man who ripped off a 70 year old grandmother...stole her purse from right in front of here.
Tell me what you think of the feisty grandmother and the punk who did the crime.
You can see my story >> HERE! <<

So was the overpass collapse onto I-55 last week a fluke or should we expect more?
MODOT says they've checked all 61 such overpasses in the St. Louis area and say only 2 may have a problem. Do you think about it when you drive down the highway under and overpass?

So who's got the first cold and sore throat of the season? (i do)
What home remedies work? Chicken soup? Tea with lemon and honey?
