me: worth seeing

kids: liked it but are not begging to see it again.

much better than I predicted, kids also enjoyed it, more than they expected.

love the weekends, who doesn't.

so what's happening this first weekend in May?

any fun things to go do?

festivals, etc?

stuff that's not expensive.

so what's the best restaurant to take the kids? besides fast food.

one that adults and youngsters both enjoy.

it won't be long before that phrase echoes through st. louis homes as summertime arrives.

so what to do this weekend.

went to the earth day festival at forest park on sunday with my kids and their friends.

we had a great time.

so what's happening  this weekend?

any ideas?

ever take amtrack to chicago, kansas city or across the country?

we've taken it a few times and even though it's been late sometimes i still arrive more relaxed than if we had taken a car or airplane.

what do you think?

summer is not that far off. we've been visiting national parks. not too expensive and simply beautiful. rocky mountain national park one of our favorites. are you going somewhere this summer?

We should work 2 days and take off 5 for the weekend. Monday's are a challenge, but it is good to be employed.

daughters: liked it.

me: art work really nice. not as good as other pixar films. rats in the kitchen: gross.

Shrek 3

Daughters: Liked it, thought it was funny.

Me: It was okay. Got a 20 minute nap somewhere in middle of film.

movie: Nancy Drew (daughter wanted to see it)

Daughter: Liked it.

Me: Should have gone straight to the Disney Channel. The big mystery of this film: Why did Bruce Willis appear in a small role? Wonder if he owned part of the film.

Pirates of the Caribbean..

Kids: loved it.

Me: Huh? What's the plot? What's the point? I didn't get it.
