time to start working in the yard or still too cold? I admit I get tired of the yard work by the end of summer but in the spring there's nothing like the smell of a fresh cut lawn.

Hi Roche,

Just a little clean up not...some crabgrass penventor and fert. on the grass in the next 2 weeks...too early for planting--ground is very cold and last frost date is around april 15th...still plenty of time--never rush the season on fox 2 news

Not too early. Already cleaned up leaves that accumulated over winter and edged the lawn. Yes, I am pathetic.

I have to admit I've never really had yard work to do until I moved a year ago. While I still don't have grass to mow (it's mowed for me), I do have three small gardens to keep up with. I don't have a green thumb, but I'm learning. It's all new to me. I don't know much about when to plant annuals, perennials or anything.

I wish the weather man would stir up some warm weather so we all can go outside and play! I want to feel the sun shine down on my face and dance around like a little girl. So what do you think Dave, Glenn, Chris,can you help a girl out?
