IDOL CONSIPIRACY????!!!!

Oh man..now they've gone and done it!!  The Idol Judges gave the night to David Archuleta, which  of course, hacked off the Cook fans...soooooo now everyone's got thier tighty-whities in a bunch  because they say the judges were trying to sway the voting.

I KNOW the judges don't matter anymore..but you know they really do....did what they say sway your vote? 

I interviewed Jessica Shaw from Entertainment Weekly magazine and she had 2 theories on the deal..

1,,,Simon "gave" the night to Archie, to upset Cook fans to make them vote more for their man..hmmmmm

2...in keeping with the boxing theme of the night, Cook "threw the fight"..hmmmmm, she said the Idols don;t get much "street cred" as singers because of the show and this would be a way for him to distance himself of it all...she called it the "Daughtry factor"..

so chew on that Idol fans...we've got a few hours to think about it and talk about it and yap about it and watch tonight to see KING DAVID crowned the next American Idol!!! But which one?

Tonight on our live reports, we hope to bring you some interviews from the red carpet before the show and live interviews with the 2 Davids and the other top 10 finalists after the show.  Woo-hoo!

 So there you have it....see you in LA!!

all i can say is, david cook should walk away the new american idol.what a waste if he doesn't! he has so much more stage presence than david a. and a voice than can sing anything, from a love song to rock n roll.

I personally like DC's style of music better and his stage presence and I am a country fan.

I do believe that the judges can sway the votes by their opinions...and what is up with the switch?...Paula said " I feel like I am looking at the American Idol" Simon Said If it remains a talent competition and not a popularity contest David Cook would win. Over and Over David Cook has shown his talent to be far above the others. I just hope that America picks the right person, BTW it was nearly impossible to get through to vote for David Cook last night.

It was impossible to get through to David A. line's also. I got to vote one time. I don't think the judge's will influence it at all. If you remember everytime Simon like some one they went. Poof they were gone. So David A. might be gone. I don't think so. David C. just was missing something lastnight. But he will do better I think as far as recording contract's not winning Idol.I think Davisd A. will get it. So stage presence but he will get it. But I have been wrong before..

Hi Randi,
I think that Simon did that on purpose so that all the David Cook fans would text or dial their finger's off. One of those," We'll Show You" things. Reverse Psycology. JMO

Both of those theories sound right. I know after the show and after how the judges gave all the praise to DA, I was thinking oh hell No..lol I grabbed the cell phone and couldnt get through to vote for DC, but my daughter got through 54 times to vote for him. We havent voted all year. Nothing against lil DA, he can sing, but all year its been DC, He is the one who SHOULD win!...Keep having fun Randi, and thanks for your blogs. ~stl

david archuletta won hands down the younger generation people vote for him b/c he has the child like face where the girls go crazy

it seems like people are choosing one or the other based on last nights performance alone. that's not cool 'cause they have been working toward this for months and all of their past performances should come into play here as well.

Cook, 25, of Blue Springs, Missouri, delivered solid performances, rocking and emotional as usual -- but didn't measure up to his 17-year-old rival. It didn't hurt that Archuleta made better song choices, hitting the right notes and squeezing the right amount of emotion from each lyric.
