Glenn Zimmerman became a Grandfather early on Tuesday morning...Congratulations!!!

Little Oliver is 8lbs 7oz.  21 inches..

 

Got some "Grandfatherly" advice for Glenn???

I think it is a great thing to become a grandparent. I have a 11 year old grandaughter. The best advice is love them, spoil them, and the best thing is when they cry then say (Here Mom) your turn! LOL

Honestly they are great and you love them as if they were yours.

I love bieng a grandma...buying noisy toys is a wonderful way to pay my daughter back for all the noisy ones she bought for her brothers!

Over on the weather blogs I sent a congratulation to Glenn telling him it is 10 times better being a grandparent than a parent!

Also, I'm challenging everyone to honor Glenn by sending a donation in HIS red kettle to the Salvation Army in honor of being a first-time Grandpa!

Congratulations Grandpa Glenn!!!

I'm a step-grandma, but I love those kids as if they were mine!!! I have 3!!! 4 yr old girl; 10 month old girl; 2-1/2 month old boy. I love seeing peoples faces when my 4 yr old granddaugther says... HEY GRANDMA.

You will find that you'll spoil them and treat them differently than your own kids!! That's the fun part of being a grandparent... spoiling them and sending them home!

Only advice is love, pass on your sense of humor, and maybe even your shoes! lol

By the way, Oliver is a wonderful, classic name.
