Read/heard about the people who are in the running to replace Bob Barker? Rosie O'Donnell...are you kidding? None of the shows she has been on lasted (cancelled or she left herself.) I do NOT think she would be a right fit for the game show. I think she is better in movies then on TV. I am a fan of hers, just not lately.

The 'finalists are' Todd Newton of the E! network, Mark Steines of  "Entertainment Tonight,"  George Hamilton (he looks like a VERY tan Bob Barker) and John O'Hurley (J. Peterman...someone boss...maybe George's on "Seinfeld," was also on "Dancing with the Stars" a few years back.)

Who do you think would do the best job as host or hostess? Any other ideas?

Anyone out there visits Springfield, MO? I've been there once, but was there for about 24 hrs b4 traveling an hour south to Big Cedar Lodge last December. What is there to do in Springfield, except Bass Pro Shops; although, we'll be going to that for sure! (just two adults going, no kids.)

Know any good hotels to stay at?

As far as I know, if an adult is being abused, no one can get them help, but themself.. I mean if I tried to get help for someone I know that I KNOW is getting abused, the athorities can't do a darn thing unless the abused person comes forward. I think that is messed up. Because of laws like that, the man over in IL was killed horribly by his wife. According to Many Murphy's research, people tried to get the man help, but nothing came of it. He was probably too scared of what his wife would do to him to get help.
