Better than 12 hour. Now the next round is arriving. We have no shortage of moisture. Dewpoints are as high as 72 in SW IL right now.
The heaviest storms seem to be breaking out along a warm type front N of STL where there is a debarkation of moist and drier air. Looks like that runs from about Alton to Vandalia. could be some really heavy rain in this line. The storms look a bit trainy.
N Madison county and N Bond county look like the best bets for flash flooding over the next three hours or so.
Just a weather nut that is presently enrolled in school hoping to become the real thing.
