I'm here in Hecker waiting for the deluge. Some areas just west of here have topped 3 inches in precip over the last two hours. These are fairly slow moving storms and tend to regenerate on their flank leading to repetitive storms over a couple hour period.  Have my rain gauge out and will report back at 5:30 or so.

WOW! Went to Red Bud to go to Dairy Queen and ran into hail on the way. We get in town and rain into even larger hail and hid under the canopy at motomart. Went to DQ and came back and hit hail again between towns. Someone between Hecker and Red Bud got over 2 inches of rain quick. According to Nexrad some of those areas I drove through got 3+. I am not surprised. It was absolutely torrential.

Now the skies will clear in town to recharge for the evening. Here is a picture as the big storm moves past my area. This is looking to the south from Hecker 5 minutes ago.

Cool pictures. Meanwhile we've been in full sunshine since about 3 PM. I'm thinking about getting out and cutting the grass real fast as this may be the only chance I get before its' ridiculously long.

No problem. Like I said, I've been looking for something like that in a Firefox plugin, so you helped me out, too.
