There were 8,002,530 downloads of Firefox 3 back on June 18th, and I was one of them! Mozilla has announced that they’ve officially been added to the Guinness World Records for most downloads in a 24-hour period.

So, do I get an official certificate? Should I add this into the "OTHER" category on my resume?  I don't know how to effectively add my new accomplishment to my personal history book!

I was also one of those that downloaded Firefox that day. It's the best browser out there and now with the IE tab I can finally get rid of internet explorer.

I use a few different options.. if I can't find what I'm looking for, I switch browsers.. I have Firefox on my desktop.. it is the fastest of my browsers..

Happy 4th.. may all the Fox Family be safe..

Happy Birthday on Monday.. POB!

Thanks MissDaisy!

Regarding Firefox as your only browser...beware. Windows updates for Vista, XP, Office, etc. don't work in Firefox, so always keep a handy copy of IE around just for those updates.

IE stinks though so try to have an extra copy of XP ready.

I love firefox, but like Patrick O'Brien says, keep an extra copy of I.E. around for your critical updates, especially if you use vista, or xp pro. I had to learn this the hard way.

Biker2Max is right as well. I'm just glad I don't have xp anymore, but some days, I feel the same way about vista, too.
