Nothing can explain just how awesome this idea is. I only wish it would be closer, like Vegas. There are plans for the world's first revolving tower, which will be located in Dubai.

According to Building.co.uk, the 80-story tower would offer residents an ever-shifting view of the Persian Gulf as the floors spin round a central core. A few superior penthouses would be fitted with voice activation technology, allowing inhabitants to control movement. Other floors would be choreographed to create a constantly-changing silhouette. And the whole building is powered by wind turbines installed between every floor.

What about motion sickness...or would they not have a sense of movement. The idea of living in a constantly moving home sort of turns my stomach! lol...I get motion sickness....

AND WE WONDER WHY WE PAY SO MUCH FOR GAS!!!!!!!

Check out Dubai online, it is one of the most beautiful and expensive places to visit or live, only for the highest elite of the elite. I watched a documentary on A&E once about Dubai, amazing.

Seriously though that is why gas costs so much is to fund these kinds of places.

Me personally would be begging for it to stop spinning especially after a night out with the girls.....or maybe that would make it better, hmmmm.

Does anyone remember Westport Playhouse's Concert in the Round where the stage revolved? There were many great concerts there and not one bad seat. Went there many times in the past.

It boggles my mind! how would they get electricity, water, sewer, etc services to the living areas? I understand that the inner portion isn't supposed to move, but my tiny brain can just picture all of the wires getting twisted up. I guess that's one of the many reasons I'm not an archetect or something similarly brainy.
