This is a follow-up blog to my original post about Google's Street View application. I've noticed now that parts of the St. Louis area are part of the feature where you can explore cityscapes, landmarks, points of interest from a street perspective. Find shops, restaurants, parks, hotels and more.

Here's Google's snapshot of the famous Mom's Deli at Jamieson near Landsdowne in the city.

Click here for St. Louis' Street View.

Happy browsing!

I was so excited when you told us about this before. We're moving to a different state and I was able to see a full on people's eye view of our house : )

I just checked out my sister's house in Florida. Haven't been down in several years, and now see how much the landscape has changed. There has been so much foliage and tree growth that all I can "see" from the street is a tiny portion of the house and part of the driveway. Also, she had her trash cans on the curb that day-LOL!...Think this is pretty neat!

Pretty cool but what about invasion of privacy?

What privacy?

People walking down your street can see your house. Should they not be able to? Your house is on a public street. What's private about that?

That was so cool. I looked at the house we lived in 15 years ago. Has a new front door but the curtains on the basement window were the same. The lawn looked nice. Neighbor cut down the big bush. Going to show the kids the other places we lived (before children).

Very cool. A couple blocks from my home there is a large piece of property where the road is gated and berms are built near the road so you cannot see past from the street. Rumor has it that a there is a large mansion on the estate. Sure enough!!

this was cool cause I have never seen my dad's house in colorado but it is weird that anyone and everyone can see my house. I know that anyone walking or driving down the street can see it but it makes it weird when anyone with internet access in the world can see my house.

I think they're still adding streets each day. There's new ones that weren't there as of last Friday! How. far. will. they. go?
