So what does everyone think of a four day work week?  Utah is instituting a mandatory four-day work week for most state employees.   Many local governments across the nation have already altered their schedules to save money, energy and resources.

That's saving you 20% off the price of your weekly commute, right off the top.  Not to mention things like child care, etc...

Hey, I used to work 12 hour shifts, so four 10 hour shifts a week wouldn't be so bad.  Count me in!

I don't think it will save that much on gasoline...... An extra day off is an extra day to drive around and do things..... For some it might mean using more fuel......

I worked a 4 day week for 3 years. I loved it! I had Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off. I also did not have to take off work for doctor appointments, getting license plates, etc.

No thank you. I like being home for dinner before 6pm. My kids would eat too late or end up eating junk food or fast food more. I would much rather be home to cook at a reasonable hour.

I prefer the no day workweek. We cannot compete with the Japs working 60-70 hour workweeks and dying so young. Its to our advantage to work from home if the job allows such. This will free up the commute for those needing to be at work and also allow us more family time.

I'm glad to see you adopted the flag as your avitar. I'd like to encourage everyone who's fed up with our two current political parties to adopt the flag as a warning not to "tread" on our liberties.
