American Idol Fatigue

I am so sick of hearing about American Idol.  I mean, come on!  Is the show really that good? 
It's bad enough to be constantly bombarded in the news papers, internet, and every time you turn on the radio.  But does channel 2 REALLY have to dedicate an entire segment to it?  I did watch the first season, and every time I stumble across it now, it's exactly the same! 
Do you want to know what's going to happen next season?  Here, I'll tell you.  They're going to pick a bunch of finalists, not based on talent, but on how polished and pretty they look on camera.  Simon's going to be a jerk.  Randy will be crabby.  Paula is going to be crazy.  And, yes, Ryan Seacrest will still be a tool.  Sorry if I ruined it for anyone.

Yeah, Idol gets major air time. Yeah, it gets to be a tad much. I have found a perfect solution for the problem (and you have to promise not to tell anyone)....when a segment comes on that I don't want to watch, I *gasp* don't watch it.
I admit to being an Idol fan, but I do get sick of seeing it over and over and over.
I think your prediction of next season is fairly accurate, other than the fact that looks are not the only thing that will get a contestant through to HOLLYWOOD.
Now that you've ruined it for me, I may not watch it next year. LOL
