I did a report in college about Nature vs. Nurture. Are children products of their envirnment or genetics? It's actually really interesting to study (some twins separated at birth married people that looked the same and even sometimes had the same names, smoked the same brand of cigarette, etc). I was very surprised that my professor read mine to the entire class. She would only read the best paper each time we had to turn one in. It was kind of embarassing (some people knew it was mine because we had to do peer editing) but also kind of gratifying. She like it because it was well written, but (key point here for you) also because it wasn't a topic that's been run into the ground either - aka, abortion, etc.

There are so many controversies going on today that it seems you would have plent to choose from, just how many others will make the same choice.

One that I think would be good is the fact that the Missouri Courts ruled that those convicted as sexual predators prior to the publishing of the list were to be removed from the list. Basically they were put on the list initially, but that was changed afterward, so we have lots of sexual predators out there that we are unaware of. This includes the predator that assaulted my son. While he is in jail now, he was convicted prior to the list and when he leaves jail this sicko who has assaulted 3 children already will be free to assault again and there is nothing we can do to know his whereabouts.

Another that has me irritated is the fact that non-profit organizations who are exempt from taxes (federal and state) are suddenly finding themselves subject to local (city) taxes and fees. Basically the non-profit industry would have to request a tax-exempt status from each city/town/municipality in the state. This cost us $10 recently when I had to attend a function in Kansas City.

Should the state tax exempt letter allow us to be tax exempt throughout the state?

War in Iraq, abortions,sexual predators rights,
illegal immagrants, adopting from other countries, do minors have the right to free speech,all these teachers having sex with their students, gay marriages, seperation of church and state, should prostituion be legalized, medical marijuana, healthcare in the USA. Hope these can help........Ta, Ta.
