Not with his VP pick. Quite an unconventional pick, the maverick really is clever. I do look forward to hearing him say how Obama's lack of experience is a bad thing when his VP choice has even less.

iT'S KINDA IRONIC TO ME HOW MANY PEOPLE ON THAT SIDE OF THE RIVER ARE FOR THIS GUY. For over 20yrs both my wife and I have heard how great Missouri is compared to IL. Now you have a law maker from IL running for president and you people are supporting him like no tomarrow...But you don't agree with our taxs or any other part of our state and believe me Chicago is no jewel, housing is terrible up there as are gas prices...I don't get it!!

What was her name again? Has anybody ever heard of her?

What, exactly, does she bring to the ticket? Does he think that all the women that were for Hillary are going to vote Republican now?

I guess she can deliver Alaska's electoral college votes, and she can help him reel in the other states in that territory of the country. Oh, wait....

That is not too far fetched about the women who were for Hillary voting for McCain now. Yes that is a possibility. She has a great track record in Alaska - she cleaned up that state and took big business head on and won. I think it was a wonderful choice for McCain.

She has more time than BO - she has 2 years BO has 143 days.

She has more experience as an executive than Obama and Biden combined.
If the country is attacked, she can shoot back.
She's not paid for by lobbyist.
She has a good moral compass.

Actually, as stated above, the two are nearly equal political experience and she has executive experience which puts her a bit ahead of him.

Beyond that, look at her credentials compared to his. She is obviously the smarter of the two (Obama/Palin), has a strong history in both business and politics of standing up for what is correct, and has no strong ties to DC politicians or lobbyiest.

The choice is clear.

Spin liberals spin

Also...she hasn't attended a hate spewing church for 20 years

And she doesn't associate with anti American fools and Chicago criminals!

The choice is clear...And there is NO comparison.

You libs are trying to put McCain in the grave....because of his age.
Sarah, even in the event that would happen, would make a better president than obamer.

For the correct things? Like what? That she is pro-life and likes to shoot animals?

Does McCain have executive experience?

About Mrs. Palin's inexperience:
God forbid that anything should happen to President McCain and Vice-President Palin should have to step in. But you see something would have to happen to President McCain before that could happen.
On the other hand, Mr. Obama is running for the #1 office President (with little experience) not the #2 office Vice-President, like her.

Barack is running for President. Sarah is running for Vice President. Barack has less experience and far worse judgement than she has as a Vice President Pick. I feel a whole lot better about the future without Barack's questionable associations or Terrorist Bill Aryes, Rev Wright, Convicted Felon Tony Rezko, and Communist Frank Marshall Davis' influence of Barack's judgement.

About Barack's inexperience:

God forbid anything should happen and he'd have to step up. With the lack of experience he has on top of the poor judgement he's displayed in the past, just let Biden govern if the Dems win.

The latest nationwide survey, begun Friday afternoon after the McCain announcement of Palin as running mate and completed mid-afternoon today, shows McCain/Palin at 47%, compared to 45% support for Obama/Biden.

The interactive online Zogby survey shows that both Obama and McCain have solidified the support among their own parties - Obama won 86% support of Democrats and McCain 89% of Republicans in a two-way head-to-head poll question not including the running mates. When Biden and Palin are added to the mix, Obama's Democratic support remains at 86%, while McCain's increases to 92%!!

Obama down 2 points after his convention??? Things are not going well for the 2 most liberal Senators..Obama/Biden.

The experience issue is directed more towards those at the top of the ticket. Palin wins the experience debate when compared directly to Obama.

I have never cared about ecperience in the first place. We have plenty of "experienced" politicians who don't do anything, or know anything. All I'm saying is She is inexperienced, just as Obama is inexperienced. John McCain is too experienced. I'm sick of experience.

And no one sanswered me. Does McCain have executive expeience? Was he ever a governor? I don't think he is, but I could be wrong.

McCain has never been a governor! I believe that he held a fairly-high ranking position in the military. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

While Palin is not going to grab all of the Hillary votes (most notably the gray haired, flannel shirt wearing crowd and the 'guilty white liberal' crowd) I would imagine she will be appealing to a vastly larger segment of the Hillary crowd, namely the 'Security Moms'

On the demagog side of the ballot all you have going for you is a completely inexperienced 'neighborhood organizer' whatever that is and a plagerist who has been in the Senate for 30 years and on the wrong side of the issue for the entire time. In short, its "Dumb and Dumber"

M&M,
"And no one sanswered me. Does McCain have executive expeience? Was he ever a governor? I don't think he is, but I could be wrong."

Spell check much? If I may quote you from another blog, "even for a troll, your just dumb."

And you're probably right that you could be wrong....maybe not to the original question - just in how you go about things altogether.

Let's see, Palin has been a Mayor and is currently the Governor of the largest state in the United States. Obama is a junior Senator who occasionally shows up to vote.

My only other name that I have created is Dantumis_Tumasit. I am only active on one blogging name at a time. I created Dantumis_Tumasit when this blogging name was gagged, for reasons unclear to me. I was planning to stay on Dantumis_Tumasit, but now the password doesn't work, so I came back here. You should also note, Dantumis_Tumasit is an anagram of Mutatis-Muatndis. Some people figured it out. Anyways, thought I'd clear that up, sense some uninformed people on here seem to have this conspiracy theory that I have created a vast number of screen names in order to better spread my America hating agenda. Sorry, don't have time for that. I barely have time for this.
