Why would you want Obama to fail?

I'm just curious, as a comment made from another blogger made it pretty clear he wants Obama to fail, as if to spite people who agree with his policies. Why? That just seems so, for lack of a better word, childish. I am not currently a McCain supporter, but should he win (which I think will happen) I will not want him to fail. Why would I want that? I hope our economy starts improving. I hope we start repairing foreign relations, and I hope this "war" starts moving in the right direction. Now, if McCain does fail (and by fail I mean things are worse than they are at the beginning of his term) I will most definately say "I told you so," just as most people on here will do if Obama wins and fails. But I won't be happy about it. I won't take joy in his failure. I kind of like this country.

we need Obama's success.
the Republicans have messed us up royally again.
we need a Democrat to succeed so that Republican philosophy will be on the road out.

And you answered my question. It was an obvious "no." Obama can't succeed for you. I don't think you hold this country's best interest at heart.

mutatis - you still don't get it. It's not a hate of democrats. It is simply an understanding that their policies have failed every time they've been tried.

So, I take it that you woudl rather see him fail than succeed? I asked a simple yes or no question.

I disagree CK. Bill Clinton seemed to do a damn good job.

Mutatis-Mutandis

My only other name that I have created is Dantumis_Tumasit. I am only active on one blogging name at a time. I created Dantumis_Tumasit when this blogging name was gagged, for reasons unclear to me. I was planning to stay on Dantumis_Tumasit, but now the password doesn't work, so I came back here. You should also note, Dantumis_Tumasit is an anagram of Mutatis-Muatndis. Some people figured it out. Anyways, thought I'd clear that up, sense some uninformed people on here seem to have this conspiracy theory that I have created a vast number of screen names in order to better spread my America hating agenda. Sorry, don't have time for that. I barely have time for this.
