MM Movie Review: Kung Fu Panda

So, here we have the latest of a seemingly un-ending stream of CGI animated movies staring Jack Black as the panda. I won't bog this down into plot details (the title alone should be enough).

I can only think of one word that describes this movie: AWESOME!!!!! Man, was it great. There were a ton of hilarious moments. Jack Black was the perfect person to play this role. Tons of dead-pan humor with well done slapstick (note the well done).

The best and most surprising thing about this movie was the action. I am a huge fan of the Kung Fu epic moves, ya know, the ones in subtitles with Jet Li. Love 'em! Well, this movie basically pays homage to all of those with awesome fight scenes that really keep you entertained. I can't help but want to watch some of my favorites(Hero, Fearless, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)  all over again after seeing this.

This movie is just down right fun and entertaining. I put it up thier with the best of the best in the animated movie department. It goes along with toy Story and Shrek. . .maybe even above.

Don't let the stigma of this being a "kid's movie" scare you off. You are only missing out.

I give it a 4.5/5. SKADOOSH!!!!!!

I love Jack Black.... He has character in his soul......

Would this movie be suitable to have on DVD at home for rugrats to watch......

A definate yes to that. We went and saw a 5:40 show and we were probably the only people there without a little kid, and they all really seemed to love it.

We went to the drive in to see Kung Fu Panda on Saturday and there were probably as many adults, as there were children. My 32yr old fiance enjoyed as much if not more than my 6yr old son. :)

Mutatis-Mutandis

My only other name that I have created is Dantumis_Tumasit. I am only active on one blogging name at a time. I created Dantumis_Tumasit when this blogging name was gagged, for reasons unclear to me. I was planning to stay on Dantumis_Tumasit, but now the password doesn't work, so I came back here. You should also note, Dantumis_Tumasit is an anagram of Mutatis-Muatndis. Some people figured it out. Anyways, thought I'd clear that up, sense some uninformed people on here seem to have this conspiracy theory that I have created a vast number of screen names in order to better spread my America hating agenda. Sorry, don't have time for that. I barely have time for this.
