So, I'm sitting here at work, working on the website. All of a sudden, an urgent bulletin crosses my screen - Report: Paris Hilton Out Of Jail.

 Of course I'm thinking, "they can't be serious. This must be a mistake." So, i clicked around to our sister-station's site, myFOXla.com and there was the story.

You've got to be kidding me! This just proves how screwed up the system is and if you're of a certain political or social level, you can get whatever you want!

Three days? Is that it? Just three days? What kind of lesson is she suppose to learn from three days? I couldn't get Christian to stop picking at a scar for three days!

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BIGGEST JOKE I'VE HEARD THIS YEAR.

Please, someone call an attorney for me. I'd like to see if I get locked up and out in three days for numerous DUI and driving on a suspended license.

Three days. I know people who couldn't sleep off a good hangover in three days. 

Give me a break!

I am surprised that you are surprised. Girlfriend, you either have to be of the complextion connection and/or have a ton of money. The rest of us are just well nobody's.

Paris deserves to be in jail, like other offenders to that degree of the law. In my opinion, one should get like 30 days w/ manditory AA meetings and therapy while in prison per DUI or DWI.

I know the meanings for DUI and DWI, but what is is diffrence? Driving under the influence and driving while intoxicated. Isn't that the same?

okay. Update. So, she's on "house arrest" at her home with an ankle bracelet. "Ohh. That's hott."
What's to stop her from throwing a party every day, drinking, having friends over and having everything she could get outside on the inside?
Amcgee73, I'm not surprise, just discussed hon. Every time you have just a 'little' faith, they go and screw it up. Good job, sheriff. Way to go! She is laughing her rear end off right now!

It was all hype, it got her name and face out there again. The system is corrupt. Even though I still have faith that not all in the system and political arena are out for themselves and can be bought.

This doesn't surprise me - Daddy Hilton pays a couple million or so under the table to the police dept. so the police can build a new jail wing or get new bullet -proof vests, cars, etc.
and THEY in turn don;t have to tolerate the media crawling all over the precinct and jail for pics or news of the spoiled brat. We all know those ankle bracelets can be easily removed and put on a table leg, etc. Her 'sickness' that helped free her was her own little hissy -fit having to be there without make up or cell phone!

How much worse can this world get? The old saying is true, money talks. There is no way I would be allowed out of jail after just 3 days for doing the same crime. Did anyone hear the story about a gal (local) who paid a ticket in one town but was arrested in another because the town in which she paid her ticket hadn't work fast enough. Well long story short she was locked up without her inhaler and had an attack in jail. She was not taken to the doctor etc etc etc. She ended up dieing. But yet F** Paris can get out because she was uncomfortable. Enough said. (If I can find the article, I will post a link)

I hope they do send her back, and this time with the meanest burliest women in the entire facility. The kind of people who would be on Scared Straight or OZ.

That's why they call it the Just Us System! It's Just Us regular folks who would end up in jail until it snows in hell. Our system stinks!

Supposdly she was let out because of a "medical condition" what withdrawl!!! Boo hoo she was crying, so what!!! What if she had ran into someone while she was driving but that is alright because in California you can whatever and get away with it because of money!!! I have never been there nor do I ever plan on going there. I had a feeling she would get out. So what she has to wear a anklelet, like you said what will stop her from throwing parties at home, it also has a range of 3000 to 4000 feet.

Hey Vera!:) I was listening to the radio and heard the story! Driving down the highway I'm thinking "What a Joke!"
I heard something about because of "Medical"
reasons they let her out early. Ya she's crazy!
