Okay, I've just watched an episode of Trading Spouses and I am so ticked off!
This was the most uneducated, ignorant woman I've ever seen in my life!
She sat in the house of a lesbian couple and basically told this woman that she had a birth defect. "Being gay is the same as having six arms." WTH???
While her freaky husband is ignoring their kids, she's bashing on everything she can find, including Hispanics. "I'm afraid that the Mexicans are taking over the world?" WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT!!

The sad part is there are soooo many more people like her in the world and they don't even think there's anything wrong with the way they think.
While ignorance abounds, I hope that the love and respect that real human beings feel for one another, regardless of race, creed, or gender will one day drown out the vain babblings of these freakin' idots!

I don't watch the show and I'm now glad I don't. I would have had to take a Larazepam to calm me down…
I don't put up with gay bashing, race or gender bashing at all. I feel your anger girl..

Calm down and take a deep breath.

Love ya :)

I made myself turn the channel because I got to angry the last two weeks over that show..I knew this weeks would be bad...but I guess(and I know I mention this a lot) for me EVEN if I didn't agree with someone's lifestyle..I wouldn't take that as an opportunity to insult them and beat them down..much less while I am a guest in their home...there are ways to take a stand for your beliefs without making another feel like trash...but the point of the show is to go in and learn new things...that woman probably closed her mind the minute she saw they were a "gay couple"...I wouldn't condone the lifestyle but I could learn about them as people..not a sexual orientation...but of course that wouldn't make for good tv either

How do you feel about bashing Christians, how do you express how you feel about gay marriage without stepping on toes. Do lie and say it is alright when you know it is not. As far a taking drugs because of a TV show that is riduculous.

Some people are just plain ignorant! This episode (to be continued next week) and the previous episode were basically the same type. The show is not about "trading spouses" anymore, it has become about closed minded, "all about them" people who really have no interest in learning about how someone else lives.

There are many ways to discuss your feelings and concerns without going straight for the throat with blatant disrespect spewing from your mouth!

Except on the days God is playing golf and puts someone else in charge, so they think! Too many Bibles have been printed with the omission of "thou shalt not judge", sad they leave that out.

I did not see it last night, and now I am glad I did not. I have seen it and is seems by the end of the show, both families have gotten something good out of the experience.

I hope that happened last night, but since you didnt mention it, I assume it didnt end well. I would have been upset with the show also Vera.

If there is to be no judging among Christians, how could we even have a legislative or judicial branch of government in this country? How could we be a responsible parent, a good teacher, a fair employer, a helpful counselor, an effective policeman, a powerful preacher, an accurate journalist or even a faithful friend? If judging others is as unchristian as today’s liberal claims it is, how do you explain the often harsh and intolerant language of God’s most faithful from the New Testament?

(John the Baptist to King Herod): “It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.” - Mark 6:18

(The Apostle Paul): “When Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.” -

Galatians 2:11
Stephen, speaking to the religious leaders before they stoned him to death):

“Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.” – Acts 7:51-53

This what the Apostle Paul says
“Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life” - 1st Corinthians 6:2-3

Does that rule out the observing and reporting of facts. Fact: Some christians are true christians to the word of God in all they are. Fact: some christians are phoney using the word of God to place themselves on some self proclaimed pedastal of being holier than thou.

Facts have two sides. Judging other's one.

Okay LMJ1130,, to you and in your eyes I made a mistake and left out a comment about bashing Christians, and I said sorry. My first comment was in fun WITH Vera NOT YOU, and I surly didn't want to offend anyone. Sorry, but I will not sit her and allow you to preach to me. I come here to blog not go to church. I think I'm a good person, and mother. If I remember you made a nice comment on my daughters blog last night about her well doings for an older man with a stroke at Wal-Mart, and how she helped him when other kids were picking on him.. Where do you think she got her values? From me her mother. I refuse to sit her and get in a pissing match over a silly blog. I said sorry to you and that is more than what many other bloggers would have done. They would have told you to kiss off. I however was nice. I'm sorry and please let's blog on.

michelle I think you have a wonderful daughter, and I am not hollier than thou, I have a sinful nature too and have to pray about it everyday. I am a very conservative Fundamental Christian and when I see or hear something I don't believe in I have to speak up. Your daughter seen some teenagers doing something wrong, she stepped up and help the elderly person and did she not judged those teenagers and she was right in doing so, because she didn't believe in what they were doing. She may have changed some lives that day by showing them what a christian does.

LMJ, interesting how I provide an example and you decide the last half applied to you and you took it personal, even to the point of posting a blog on it for "Christians Only". We the people of the U.S. have the right to freedom of religion. Belief systems regarding religion and spirituality far outreach ones comprehension with its vast dimensions and multitude of variables. Although there is no right way, there is one way according to God's will. The main reason I avoid Christianity and Religion is found in your new blog. You go on about how important it is to judge others in generalized terms. In Matthew 7:3 Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? Seems God was asking a question, but without judgment. Taking things out of context and running with it is a poor example of being a Christian in my book. Jesus himself did not take all that was done to him and run with it for a personal agenda. Jesus was a role model and showed the way in how he lived while here on earth. His words matched his actions perfectly. I will ask God how I did when I stand before him, not self proclaimed Christians here on earth, simply no trust thanks to hypocrisy I've seen. Christians who stand in judgment of me should be looking in the mirror. My friends who care and love me are free to tell me how they see me, that's how I learn. And they do it with absence of judgment or criticism, but with love and understanding.

How will people know If they are not told what is right and what is wrong. Are you going to just say do your own thing, if it feels good do it. Who's responsiblity is it? I thought all christians should tell people about sin. I am not judging the person but their deeds. It may sound if I am offended but I am not, I appreciate any criticism to make me a better person. I am intolerant on things that I don't believe in. Are we to tolerate Devil worship or Islamic Fundamentalist and not Judge. There are no Gray area's in the Bible it is Right or Wrong.

Dude I sat there with my Mouth dropped open...I couldn't believe how ignorant this woman was.... and from the looks of it, she screws the gay family simply because they are gay.

I've never in all my whole life EVER experianced something like this before.

If I have a box of cake mix and take it off the shelf every day for a year and read the directions but put the box back on the shelf and I do this each day for a year I will become an expert at baking a cake by the years end. Problem is I have no cake.

I found my true happiness in life and yet have never been judged by a gay or lesbian for the way I found it. I am straight. It is not my responsibility to point out the wrongs in others. That right belongs to them and thier God if they are Believers. Judgment occurres quickly after death and not before. Repentence is in the presence of God and done with Him not people here on earth. If it is the responsibility of Christians to fix my sins then Jesus death was in vain. Catholics believe the soul can be saved and sent to heaven by a priest praying for that prior to and at the moment of death. So a pedofile who molest children over his lifetime and is a Catholic has no worry about going to hell? Hmmm confusing to say the least.
