Okay. Am I the only one excited about the M.A.S.H series DVD that's coming out? I absolutely love MASH. Hawkeye, Trapper, Hot Lips, Radar, and the whole 4077 gang. My favorite episodes were the ones were they did what appeared to be interviews with reporters about the war. Those were also a tear jerker for me. I also remember when hot lips and Hawkeye kissed when they were being shelled.
But one of my favorite characters wasn't on much - Sidney, the psychiatrist. "Ladies and Gentlemen, take my advice: Pull down your pants and slide on the ice."

Hey quick quiz question: What does M.A.S.H. stand for?
Do you know? I do!

I used to quickly change the channel as soon as I heard the MASH song, "Suicide is Painless," come on. I hated that show. Then, one night, about a year ago, I was having problems falling asleep so I figured I would watch something boring to make me tired. I turned on MASH. Yeah...I got sucked in and have been watching it ever since!

Doesn't MASH stand for Mobile Army Surgical Hospital?

yes I am excited about the M*A*S*H* series comming out on DVD my whole family watches M*A*S*H*every day and on the weekends oh and by the way M*A*S*H* stands for Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. My favorite episode is where Hawkeye glues Charles Winchester's pants to the chair in the officers club and Hawkeye was to be the one to be glued to the chair.

I loved that show. I will definitely buy a DVD. My favorite episode was the one where Hawkeye and Trapper kept swapping Winchester's pants making him think that he was losing weight. Let me pose this question to all the readers... "Of the following pairs of characters swapped, which individual character was your favorite?"

Col Potter/Lt.Col Blake
BJ Hunnicut/Trapper John
Frank Burns/Charles Emerson Winchester III

I loved the show, too. It was a comical view of the Korean conflict. But, there were moments where it was very serious.
If I may correct something, it was BJ and Hawkeye that played the joke on Winchester by changing out his pants.
My favorite episodes: one was the Christmas episode in which BJ, Hawkeye, and Margaret took care of a wounded soldier then moved the clock ahead so the death certificate would show he died the day after Christmas. Another favorite was Henry's departure. And, of course, there was the final episode, "Goodbye, Farewell, And Amen".
MASH stands for Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. Now, I have a trivia question: Colonel Sherman T. Potter was not Harry Morgan's only role on MASH. He appeared in an earlier episode in the series. What was that character's name and what was "odd" about him?

Harry Morgan guest starred as General Bartford (or Bradford) Hamilton Steele. The General was so crazy that he believed Cpl. Klinger was his wife.

I have always, always loved MASH. In fact, the TV network I have now removed the station that now shows MASH. I am seriously thinking about dropping it and going to a network that will let me watch MASH every night. My favorite episodes were Henry's departure and the first show with Col. Potter taking over.I never knew there were so many other fans out there! It's really exciting!

MASH has always been a great show. While I didn't like the movie version, I enjoyed the TV series greatly.

The most profound episode was when Henry left. I still cry every time I see the episode, especially when Radar comes into the operating room and makes the announcement of his being shot down. BOO-HOO, Sob, Sob
