Harmless Pranks

I just read an article about 11 high school students from northern Illinois who dressed up ....10 of them as bananas and one as a gorilla....and ran through the halls of the school.   They were suspended for what school officials called a "serious" prank.  Come on now....what every happened to having a little fun?  In this day and age when there are drugs and weapons and fights in the school, what is so bad about dressing like a banana?  

I had a high school English teacher who stole the Biology teachers skeleton from his classroom and then left notes around the school.  She even had some kids go into his classroom and sing "dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones".   

What will happen now?  They will put this on the students permanent record and they will be scarred for life for trying to have some fun.

Oh, for crying out loud, leave these kids alone already!! Let them have some harmless fun!!

Heaven forbid the school have any control over their own students. How dare they!!

Being suspended is fine. It won't hurt them.

The school has rules. Despite what most teens thing they cant just do whatever they want whenever they want without paying the price.

Life is about taking responsibility for your actions. The sooner kids learn this lesson the better they will be.

Not everything is about rules and regulations in this world. Thats what part of the problem is now. There are to many rules and regulations. Think about what we grew up with compared to now. Most of us turned out just fine. Let the kids have their fun.

It sounds like the school administration is a bunch of up-tight control freaks with Napoleon complexes. What's wrong with some end of the year levity to lighten the mood a little? What rule was broken with this "serious" prank? Geez, get a life and a side order of humor!!!

Yeh well it always starts with 'just a banana' next thing you know the whole school is fruit.
I can see this as a peach of a story.

there's nothing better than a good clean prank, that doesnt involve any violence and is non-affilited with freshmen beat down day. I hope to see a good clean prank competition in the near future.
