I can remember during every sports event over the years, my husband and I would sit and watch the parents and wait to see who in the group that week was going to get kicked out for one reason or another. Never had anyone actually gotten into a fight that would cause the kids to become upset. One afternoon at a baseball game, I suppose the umpire was not in the best of moods. He may have been tired or just unhappy that day. He made a couple of calls that our bench didn't agree with. Funny, the othere bench didn't either. Anyway, my husband yells,,, UMPIRE, would you like to borrow my glasses... the man turned and yelled back to him... YES SIR I WOULD TO WATCH YOU LEAVE, YOU ARE OUTTA HERE.... well, it was pretty funny but i didn't want to sit there by myself so i yelled, he's been kicked out of bigger and better places than this... He turned to me,,, up went his hand, pointed to the exit, and said MA'AM you are outta here. I think he forgot his morning coffee that day. So as my husband and I walked out of the park hand in hand, i was cringing at the thought of my son being totally embarrassed. After one of the coaches got booted along with my hubby and I, the game ended, my son comes running off the field, over to us, my thinking he was going to have a fit... looked at us with his big blue 10 year old eyes and said :Gosh you two are the coolest parents out there" Who knew? I guess it wasn't all that horrible, but never have i seen a out and out brawl. OH those were the days!!!!

No matter how much you preach to your children, once they get into college, they have a mind of their own. Hopefully they keep their morals in tact, but if not, I do believe it's better safe than sorry. Because condems are being handed out, does not preach anything more or less than what they already believe.
