O NO! its that time of the season again for ticks so be carefull!

A school in my county is being very aware and sending a note home about tick prevention.

Be carefull out there!

YEPPERS, Them darn things have been out for a few weeks now. Just have to be cautious.

Yikes! those are nasty looking. Ticks aren't much of a problem where I live. Fire ants are, though.

Always check yourselves and your children after being outside...ticks are REALLY BAD around my house. I usually find them before they attach, because I am constantly on the look-out for them.

Ok you guys this always freaks me out! I will be spending 2 weeks in Shawnee National Forest and I HATE ticks! They greep me out and I hate to worry about where they might show up!! LOL So if any one has some good ideas how to keep them off of me let me know!! Yikes!

Jana, I don't know how to keep them away but I never go camping or in the woods without clear fingernail polish. Once their in you, the polish smothers them and they die.

Hey Wild...you just can't have one! Heck i had 15 on me the other day building fence...thats not counting the ones crawling on my t-shirt. Hey i use to live in Illinois and near monroe county....you guys don't have much of a tick problem compared to here. There's few bloggers on here i'd like to check for ticks....don't tell my wife i said that....LOL....
