Has anyone started putting up Christmas Decoration yet? Is it to early? I was thinking about putting mine up this weekend but thought it may be to soon. So when will you put yours up and the tree?

Are you ready for Christmas? I sure am.

Well I have seen 3 houses with them up so far.

I am ready for Christmas but our tree will not go up till after Thanks Giving...

Christmas Tree goes up AFTER Thanksgiving. NO way NO how will I put it up sooner.
To me, its bad enough the stores are putting it out before Halloween.

The day after Thanksgiving for me. It takes me two days to put up my outside lights. I guess I better start testing them pretty soon though.
I also love this season. May sound strange coming from me, but it is what it is.

what... omg... the tree goes up at the shop on the 15th of dec and at my house never anymore, not in the last 6 years..no way, im not a christmas person at all anymore, used to win prizes for outside decor

Hey Suz, The ONLY way it will go up BEFORE turkey day is if YOU get up in the attic and get ALL the decorations down yourself. Yea, you will have to use the old ladder to do it. LOVES YA

Christmas is not about decorations..... It is about the love of Jesus...... The lights and the colors are nice and the stores go all out to put us in the spending mood..... When I was young my favorite part of Christmas was when the Choir that I sang in would go caroling.... Hot Chocolate and cold hands and quality time with people.........
This is christmas to me.........

I never put them up till the day after Thnksgiving. While everyone is out at 4AM shopping, I'm still sleeping till I get up to decorate my house. My tree doesn't go up till the first weekend in December. This year it will be scaled down because my daughter will be with her father and his family. I don't have family here anymore so it will just be me and the pets this year. Good thing I don't drink anymore cuz they would be peeling me off the floor. LOL

I will put up after Thanksgiving. But of course I have seen lights up all year round. LOL

My oldest keeps asking me why Christmas decorations are up all over the stores and we haven't had Thanksgiving yet. That is somewhat hard to explain to a 6 year old that the stores want $$$$$$.....

I keep telling my husband to atleast put the lights on the house before it gets to cold but hes NOT listening so he can freeze his butt off if he wants to wait until after Thanksgiving! I love Christmas decorations. I seen one little christmas tree lit up in someones yard last nite and i thought my old mans eyes were gonna roll out of his head LOL

Most years I dread putting up the tree, this year however I can't wait. We had such a dreadful Christmas last year, I plan on this one being much better.
