            Just incase if you didnt know it, the Republican party has always been anti-union.

If you are in a union or know anyone in a union I ask you to vote for Sen. Obama.

    It has never been more simple, unless you are rich, Mr. Obama should be your choice for president.

        While at the zoo saturday morning, my wife was enjoying a cigarette (which is still legal), way away from anything or anybody and out of nowhere this zoo volunteer, whom probably is old enough to remember the Lincoln administration, rushed over to instruct her on the locations of the smoking area.

           My point is not the smoking issue, it is the volunteering issue. Although volunteering may make the volunteer feel they are helping someone and giving their life some purpose, they are taking jobs and are the enemy of  the labor force who has enough competition with the illegal aliens and the corporate takeovers, not to mention all the imported junk we receive from China.

           Our hospitals are a prime example of this fleece, please realize there are graduating classes of nurses aids who need jobs, those jobs are not going to be available if they're filled up with volunteers. Trust me, the hospital administrators love the pink ladies but do your duty to the youth and find a hobby.

These hard times are a great opportunity to take action, First, all americans should be diligent in buying american products when they are available. If they are not available question yourself if you really need that product.

American auto makers should be running full steam building cheap one to two seat autos with the bare necessities that are capable of 50 mpg or more, If they seize the moment they all could build up their empires once more and put the great american UAW workers back to work.

Employers need to be more flexible with the forty hour work week, four ten hour days verses five eight hour days equates into one less day of commuting to work and would cut down on the demand for oil and would drive the price down, also the extended weekend would generate more dollars into our economy.

As Americans we have proven that we can adapt and overcome, it is our duty to our great country to be innovative and guide this nation back to the role model it once was. If you are as tired as I am of hearing about China's booming economy and how the US is falling behind, Get off your prozak, put down the five dollar coffees, skip the manacures and pedicures buy american and VOTE.

I'm old school, I pay cash and I always fill my tank up to figure my mpg. I refuse to wait in line twice, once to put a deposit down and then again to get my change.

       I would run out of gas before I would EVER prepay, and forget them debit cards there just another way for a cashless society and identity theft. 

                 It would be great if big trucks had their own highway, they slow down traffic and no matter how many airbags we have in our cars we dont stand a chance against one of them in a traffic accident.

             At the very least we should restrict them to their own lane.

Just imagine the savings to all of us and the lowering in demand for oil, if our national work week went from five eight hour days to four ten hour days. that would be one less day to drive to and from work and give us three day weekends.

I truly think the Gross National Product would be positively effected as well as our economy.
