With gas prices souring, are you still taking a summer vacation? We're trying to find out how many of you plan to travel this summer and if so where are you going? Are you staying close to home, driving, flying? If you're staying here, I would like to know what places are unique and perhaps best kept secrets in Missouri or Illinois, that is until we tell everybody about them! Thanks for your help.
Don't call me fat

This picture of Jennifer Love Hewitt hit newstands with a headline declaring: "We know what you ate this summer...everything." Friday morning on our stlmoms.com segment we'll be talking about Hollywood celebrities and body image. The stats are startling, 42% of 1st through 3rd graders want to be thinner, these are precious six, seven and eight year olds. We'll compare the celebrities to the average American woman. Jennifer Love Hewitt came out saying "don't call me fat" I'm a size 2, but was more disturbed about what these words said to teens and even younger girls. What do you think? I'd love to share some of your comments on the air Friday morning.
Holiday greetings from the "three ring circus" otherwise known as my home! Everyone is doing great and we are so blessed and giving many thanks for the addition of baby Jordan to our family. Thanks again to all of you for your well wishes! I hope you can tune into Fox 2 News In The Morning on Monday, as the "often imitated but never duplicated" Mr. Tim Ezell catches up with me and all that's been going on over the past several weeks. We'll be live, as I share with you some pictures from my personal photo album, including the moments before and after Jordan's birth, some holiday memories, and my favorite quick and easy holiday treat that looks like you spent hours in the kitchen. Plus we'll tell you when I'll be returning to the anchor desk and getting some much needed rest! LOL! It should be a fun filled morning with Tim and my three children on live television. You never know what might happen! We'll see you starting at 7am on Monday morning.

Sex or No Sex?

First off many thanks for all of your wonderful wishes regarding my pregnancy. I'm about 5 months along now and am faced with the question do we find out the sex of the baby. We are already blessed abundently with a little boy and girl, so this one will be the tie breaker. It's so exciting not to know and leave it a mystery as we experienced in the past, but many in our family really want to know. I could have it written down in an envelope and open it live on FOX 2 News in the Morning! Just a thought. Let me know what you think and if you found out.
Preschool Jitters

Calling all Parents,
I'm a total hormonal mess as it is, expecting baby three and all and now I need to drop my three year old son off at preschool for the first time. He's never been left with anyone other than family members and while we've met his teachers and he's seen the classroom and we're thrilled for him, I'm afraid I will begin sobbing and make a total scene. Even some of the manly men here at FOX 2 have confessed to me in private that they bawled when they dropped their child off for the first time at school. Any advice and experiences you would like to share to make me feel better feel free. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your support!
Birthday Party Help

I can't believe it, my baby boy is about to turn 3 already. Time truly flies by! Wasn't it just yesterday he was born? Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any great ideas for birthday parties or favorite memory of a party when you were a kid. Of course, he probably won't remember a thing, but as a Mommy we always want to make it extra special, if nothing else he'll have the photos. He loves the superheros, Superman, Spiderman, etc. Any memories of birthday parties you would like to share or parties you've thrown for your kids I'm open for suggestions. Best cake? Party favors? Presents? By the way, is there anyway to stop the hands of time? They grow way to fast! Thanks for your help.
What's your dream job?

Do you love your job? Would you welcome employment somewhere else? A new study shows most employees are searching for a different job. Another asks where you'd most like to work? So, where are you going now that you've left your job...I'm going to DisneyWorld! Yes, the majority of people would chose "Disney" as the place they would most like to work. So, if you had your choice of a dream job who would you work for or what would you do? Needless to say, I'm working my dream job sitting next to Pertzborn every morning. LOL
