First off many thanks for all of your wonderful wishes regarding my pregnancy.  I'm about 5 months along now and am faced with the question do we find out the sex of the baby.  We are already blessed abundently with a little boy and girl, so this one will be the tie breaker.  It's so exciting not to know and leave it a mystery as we experienced in the past, but many in our family really want to know.  I could have it written down in an envelope and open it live on FOX 2 News in the Morning!  Just a thought.   Let me know what you think and if you found out.

I found out my first and my second. I didn't find out my third but my hubby knew. I did know on the inside. I was on bedrest and my hubby would say "you keep saying it is a boy, but you will feel rotten when it turns out to be a girl" so one evening I was crying...lol and he finally broke down and told me that I was right it was a boy...it was eating me up him knowing and me not knowing. I found out about Kirsten (my 4th) but I didn't not find out about my last Joshua.
So, I think it would be great to find out...lol especially if you are going to share it with us on the air.
No matter what I am praying for a healthy, happy pregnancy and a fast delivery. :)

Margie, As you said, you could go either way. I think it would be great for you to announce it on air. If you opt to do so, it would be great to have Timmy along with your husband read it live on air. Make a fun skit around it.

Love you all, keep up the fantastic job!

Margie,
It is a joy to watch you on FOX 2, you are a true professional.

As a father of three, I have found this to be true.
1) any child is a blessing
2) at three, you suddenly learn to juggle. LOL
3) watching, teaching and loving your children is the highest calling in life, and the most rewarding.

GOD BLESS

Margie, what a great idea to announce the sex of your baby on air. The interaction between you and your co-workers is priceless and as a viewer who watches all of you every day, it would really be great to see everyone's reactions.
I found out with my son and I never regretted it at all...it's still an incredible moment when you finally meet them. Personally, I couldn't stand the suspense. Take care.

Well congradulations!!! My baby is going on 5 months now. ( For the first month and a half you can just forget about sleeping during the night-lol)At, first I wanted my baby gender to be a surprise but then I thought about it and I needed to start preparing to buy clothes, nursery, and etc. I think it would be exciting for you, your family and fans to share what the baby will be. (by the way I watch you every morning-you guys are silly. I always know I'm going to have a good laugh. Keep it up, and take it easy- the both of you.

Hey lady! I'm so happy for you!
We have 3 children, and I didn't find out with the first two, but with the 3rd we did.

Having it be the 3rd it's nice to be prepared. Are you planning to design a nursery? Knowing the sex of the baby will help with picking out the perfect design! Oh if you are girl call me, I love to decorate!! lol

I think a skit with Timmy would be amazing!
Whatever the sex your baby is I pray for a healthy pregnancy, and a very easy delivery!

Peace Margie! Jana

Congratulations Margie : )

My first (who is 21 today) didn't have a sonogram, they didn't do sonograms as routine as they do now, so it wasn't an option. The last two were high risk pregnancies so I had several sonograms and the little guys would never cooperate so they couldn't tell the sex. The first two were boys so it made the last one so special not knowing and getting a girl.

I had my children in the 70's and didn't know their sex until their birthday! I can see where knowing helps in preparations.

How about this, Margie. Your hubby finds out the sex and your on air family knows, but you don't. They could drop subtle hints.. haha.. Ok, this would be cruel cause you know they would all mess with you. :)

Happy baby whatever you have. The best to your family.

I'm nosey Margie and I'd want to know. However, I'm not in your immidiate family only your Fox2 family, so my wants don't matter. A skit with Tim would be good. You could tell your entire family that way. But do whats in yor heart. Mr. Wild it's a girl ok!
Ohhhhhhhhh I'm so excited for you!!!

first was a surprise. Second and third we found out. I like knowing so I can decorate the nursery accordingly. Sorry but I hat the unisex colors of green and yellow. I like the pink or blue or the specific boy/girl themes... I say FIND OUT!!!! I also like to know so I can dress them accordingly again I hate the traditional unisex colors....

I think it would be neat to announce it on air. I would just go crazy not knowing. It made me bond better with my child, maybe I am just weird.

We never knew until our ( three girls ) were born . I think thats a individual choice . We both hoped for a son . All three times we looked into the eyes of our gifts from God . Girl , boy was no longer important . I must warn you , whatever you have . They will be a thief . As soon as their born , they steal your heart and never give it back .
We have 6 grandsons and one great grand daughter . ( Side note ) Our great grand daughter is the most beautiful girl on the planet . Sorry she has taken that spot ! LOL
One more thing , hold your child tightly . In a blink of an eye their grown and gone .

I know alot of people find out ahead of time what they are having. I had 3 kids and the last one was the only one I was asked if I wanted to know, and I said no. I love the surprise of finding out at delivery time. That's just me.

I anchor Fox 2 News in the Morning and yes, I actually do enjoy mornings! I've always gotten up early and find getting off to a great start in the morning is refreshing. After Fox 2, my life quickly turns to my family. My 4 year old son, 2 year old daughter, & newborn baby boy keep me busy running everywhere! I know all you Mom's out there can appreciate that. I have to say, being a Mommy is the greatest job on earth! Did I mention I have the best husband in the world? I'm truly amazed at all he does everyday! Other than family life, my heart is with kids born with the odds against them. I spend a lot of time with charities focusing on children. Thank you for allowing me to "wake-up" with you every morning and I look forward to hearing from you on the blogs. God Bless.
