I happen to think he is a cry baby! He did'nt like the skipper in Philly..He does not like Tony...Maybe his problem, is really not his problem? Maybe it's everybody else? I personally think He has what is called anti social behaviour...I don't think wherever he goes he will be happy...I really don't think he is as great as he thinks he is...He is great with a glove, but his power numbers are no where near what they were his first year here...Tony has delt with a lot of problem players in his career including Ricky Henderson, and was always able to get the best out of them...This guy Rolen probably needs to be on the DL until they can prescribe him some ADHD meds that will work..Just my opinion...

Yeah, he's a cry-baby but LaRussa's worse. Put the both of them in the same empty tub and you'll have tear overflow within hours. LOL.

Rolen is just not a healthy player. He needs to enjoy one more year in the bigs, invest his cashola, and retire in style.

As for meds for ADHD - I think something like Oxycotin for those sore shoulders. I understand exactly how he feels....

Cry-baby - yeah - so were the fans (I was one of them).

naaa,i don't think he is a cry baby, just think that with his injuries the past couple of years is getting to him, being one of the elite third baseman in the game and watching it slowly go away because of injuries, might be affecting him mentally, would be very hard to go from hero to zero with something that you can't control

Hero to Zero - great statement and we've seen some Hero to Zero players. I challenge the 3 of us to come up with Zero to Hero in one year? I remember about 8 to 10 years ago a dude that hit 50 homers and he was very young. His name is Brady Anderson and at that time he played for the Indians I believe. Check him out - I just googled him and it's too bad he didn't stay in the bigs longer.

How's it goin guys, The 4th stooge is probably rite hero to zero was a good point...Speedy I remember Brady but his personality was not quite like Scotts...And 4th stooge you are absoulutly rite about his fielding skills...I think his head gets in the way quite a bit and clouds his mind...Speedy I think you are right to some degree about Tony...But we all have had a boss that we can't stand..

LOL - you know how I feel about LaRussa - wow did I ever cringe when they announced he'd be back. It'll be a tough year in 2008 and mainly because of his managing mistakes.

So, any Zero to Hero candidates?

Ankiel...Zero to Hero to Zero (about 4 or so years ago) then this past season Zero to Hero let's hope he stays a hero.

Like many of the announcers say, Rolen is a very serious player and really wants to be out there playing this best. His injuries have really gotten him down. But yeah, I can see your point too. I am starting to get tired of the "soap opera drama" between Tony and Scott. It looks like Soott will be back in 2008 and we know for sure Tony is back for two more, so it looks ilke Scott will have to deal with his boss whether or not he personally likes him.

I'm truly a Cardinal Fan, but Rolen has been what he was billed to be. Let him go and Issy too, I'll be Happy with that as long as some real talent comes even by way of the farm team or high school draft picks.

When Rolen is healthy he's not a bad player offensively and defensively - he's always pretty good.

As for Izzy - he's not going anywhere. He's one of the top closers in the league and probably has a few more years left til retirement.
