I did not watch the X-files on TV.  It's not that I didn't like it. I just never started watching it. 

That said, I can tell you that I enjoyed the movie. (3 out of 4 reels)  My favorite movie genre is suspence/thriller .. and this one is a pretty good one.   

You don't have to be an X-Files fanatic to "get" this movie.  It stands alone.

But I'd love to hear what some of you X-Files fans think of the movie.

Well, I will most likely wait or a rental, but as a one time semi X-Files fan, I was surprised to see this film being made. The first X-Files movie was okay. I though the franhcise was dead, but I'm sure there will be at least two sequels to this one they will be able to squeeze money out of.

Let's face it...the only ones' going to see this is the true"X" lovers and guys(and gals) that want to oogle at whats-her-name(Scully?).

have only wathed the tv show a few times when there was nothing else on tv or i was too lazy to get up and turn the channel..there was some good episodes..but i will probably have to wait till its on dvd to watch the movie if i see it..not a big sci fi person here besides Dr Who and Torchwood
