We've now launched foxhilites.com, and are asking users to upload video...and WOW! I am so impressed with the kind of videos that people have been uploading. Plano and Barrington have particularly impressed me with their video submissions. Both schools have a ton of great football action going on at these Friday night games. Also, there is a player at Naperville North player, Nick Mlady that is great! We still want to see videos come in from other schools...so give it a try at foxhilites.com.
I got a chance to cover the Wheaton Warrenville South game with our foxhilites reporter, Sarah Kustok. We had so much fun! We even got a chance to interview Stylz and Roman from B96...they were doing a live broadcast from the school's parking lot. The rest of the night was really exciting. The fans got so into this game, that I forgot how much fun these games really are. The student section was covered from head to toe in cheetah print and body paint. One guy had a drum that he banged literally the entire game. It was awesome...these teens really were having so much fun. They told us to watch out for Mark La Belle. So for anybody playing the tigers...keep him in mind!
