The Russian invasion of Georgia and the inability of the US or Europe to do anything about it demonstrates Russia’s newly proven position of power in the world and the current weakness of the world’s democracies.

Europe and the US will not attack Russia foremost because Russia has a large sophisticated military force and plenty of nuclear weapons, not because the US is hamstrung by the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The current military tactics in Iraq and Afghanistan could be adjusted to quickly crush the will, or the capability, of those countries that are acting to promote the continuing of those wars to nothing more than a minor consideration. If the US and Europe went up against Russia then their global priorities would change with definitive power being used to quickly knock down any country that acts to help their enemies. Russia has now even suggested that it may engage in military action against Poland because Poland signed an agreement to install the US missile defense system. If Russian troops entered Poland would Europe and the US send troops into Poland to attack those troops if necessary to force them out or just put up with it? What would Russia do if the west started to move equipment and troops to provide some protection against an invasion into former USSR countries that claim they fear threatened by Russia?

Any financial penalties the US and Europe impose against Russia for their attack into Georgia, and for their remaining on and keeping any Georgian territory they please, could backfire. Europe and the US need the massive amounts of Russian gas and oil to continue to flow into Europe. If the western democratic countries freeze Russian bank accounts and apply other financial penalties against Russia then they may find out the hard way which country holds the power to cause the other the greater financial suffering. If Russia decides to shut off the taps to European countries the lack of fuel and the fuel price jump for Europe and the US could quickly cripple their economies. Even just jacking the price way up would cause a lot of damage because Europe can’t just go shopping elsewhere to get a better deal because of the tight world supply situation, and you can bet that action would cause US prices to jump too. And as hurricane Gustav approaches the US government has announced that it is willing to tap into the country’s strategic oil reserves to try to stabilize the cost of a gallon of gas at the pumps if the hurricane causes any interruptions to the US oil and gas production, which of course is being done to buy political favour during this election period. What about the ease with which hostile countries can cut the US or world oil supplies to cause costs to skyrocket and the reduced ability of the US to absorb this hit if its reserves are reduced, and even more so if a major military action is needed because the current Russian threat escalates during the same time and/or Iran causes problems with the Persian Gulf oil tanker traffic? As per usual the politician’s only thoughts prove them to be selfish and incapable of understanding the threats to themselves, their families, and all the rest of the people who make up the country. Of course the wealthiest can always move to safer parts of the world during times of war to continue their empires, notwithstanding a full out global nuclear war that they also would suffer from.

The western countries cannot succeed in bullying Iran into stopping their nuclear program either. The US and Europe cannot attack Iran to prevent them from pursuing their nuclear program without considering what Russia and Iran could join together to do. Iran could fully or partially shut down the Persian Gulf oil tanker traffic and Russia could turn off the taps to its pipelines that supply Europe or jack their prices up enough to seriously harm the economies of the west. The Russian and Iranian gas and oil could still move through Russian controlled territory, including using the Georgian pipelines that would have been a bypass around Russian territory, to sell to China and their other friendly countries. The west should not be surprised to see more Russian weapons and supplies flowing into Iran.

The US cannot act aggressively against China either because unfair trade practices have resulted in China holding a massive amount of the country’s debt that the Chinese could dump into the world’s markets to crash the US economy. The western democratic countries have allowed communist China to enact uneven trade policies to take wealth from their countries, and to purchase their resources and to get easier access to western technologies. Our democratic leaders like to pretend themselves to be more morally correct then the rest of us peons by being so inclusive of all people, so much so that they fool themselves into looking at everyone and everything through rose coloured glasses. Communist countries use this kind of naivety of the arrogantly delusional to strengthen their position of power.

The western countries democratic politician’s foolish lack of concern for the long term consequences of allowing the free market to choose the direction for their countries means they ignored the threat of outsourcing their country’s energy supply sources. They have also ignored the financial threats unrestrained free markets have caused that allows communist countries like China to hold such a massive amount of our debt as leverage against us and that have also resulted in the unemployment of millions of our own citizens. The massive amounts of money paid out for imported oil and trade imbalances that flowed out of the western countries are returning to buy up all the country’s people’s works, resources, properties and technologies. The western democratic countries economies can now be easily bought or held hostage by foreign interests because for decades our leaders have chosen not to lead but to foolishly allow the selfishly greedy markets to choose our countries path. The only thing our politicians know because they constantly practice it is how to lie and deceive, and how to suck butt of any little group that may help provide them with the few extra votes they’ll need to get them elected. Their main use of their mind is trying to think of how they can improve their chance of getting elected or reelected, and in practicing how to lie and deceive more convincingly. Instead of knowing a little history, something about human nature, and having some understanding of current business practices and technologies, and applying this knowledge to encourage the progression of our country to the benefit of we the people, who are in fact the country, the politicians prefer to blindly leave everything up to unknown people and engage in their tirade of “The best thing to do is to let the markets dictate their own path and make their own corrections.”.

Has Russia even bothered to return the US equipment they stole in Georgia or are they continuing to thumb their nose at the US? What will the western countries do if Russia decides to move their military into Poland and/or other countries? Will they be willing to go to war against a nuclear power that could immediately shut off so much of their needed power generating capability and upset their economies? Does Russia need to concern itself with the blathering of the US and European politicians when they hold so many power cards? Will Russia, China and Iran choose to work in tandem to deliver a one, two, three knockout punch to the western democracies? Stay tuned: same bat time, same bat channel.

Everyone claims their own individual freedom rights even to the point of demanding the law throw away the religious moral rights and beliefs of the majority to cater to them. There are an awful lot of people complaining about the state of the economy, yet those same people don’t seem to realize that the basic democratic freedom economy that allows everyone to seek their own path to happiness and profit, without responsibility or concern for others, is what caused all the economic problems currently affecting the US.

If you watch the news you’ll notice the politicians want to either tax the windfall profits of the oil companies or to go after the speculators who they claim are driving oil prices up. The oil companies have made their profits following the rules the politicians put in place. The speculators are only following the market place rules of trading to seek a profit. These same politicians claim they are all for the US democratic system but they now seek to punish those who were following the rules, or lack thereof, that they put in place. The many companies that shuffled so many jobs out of the country are also just following the rules the government put in place, the same as the companies that also put their quick profit above the concerns of the country to sell those mortgages that were designed with the full knowledge that most of them would fail.

Now let us all bow down and worship our countries that cater to individual selfish desires before that of respecting and protecting the country which is all the people, and let us not complain about the results of our worship.

What a foolish way to pretend to promote alternative clean energy sources.  The cost of energy is sky high and some people want to up that cost under the guise that this will stimulate the switch to other energy sources.  Duh, you can’t act in a manner that threatens to cripple the economy and expect money will flow into the technologies you want.  And saying you won’t do anything until all the countries of the world agree to act together just proves you don’t want to do anything or that you are extremely naive about international politics.  Doing it ourselves and proving it works will make other countries want to do the same thing and would give us a trade advantage over them because we would already be there while they would be just starting out.

First you promote the growth of the needed new energy sources and then when they come online sufficiently well enough you warn the public in advance, for example 5 years in advance, that the taxes on the old fossil fuels will jump substantially.  This allows the people to choose to buy the newer products, like buying hydrogen fueled vehicles and signing on with wind and solar electrical generating companies to receive their energy needs, or to continue to buy the old gas guzzlers and staying with the companies that use fossil fuels to create electricity with the full knowledge of the high price consequences that will result from their staying with dirty burning fossil fuel sources.  That will then give an added boost to the already established newer clean energy producing product companies, and an additional incentive for new startup companies to emerge, which will reduce prices further and improve efficiencies as they gear up for an even greater production demand.

The main thing preventing hydrogen fueled vehicles from selling on mass to reduce their current high cost and promote us into the cleaner hydrogen economy is the fact that the majority of us cannot afford to, nor will we choose to, buy a vehicle that we cannot refuel no matter where we choose to drive it.  The politicians need to promote the installation of hydrogen refueling stations across the continent.  Once there are a reasonable number of stations throughout the country then the politicians will need to give assistance to local manufactures that want to build our hydrogen powered vehicles here and to companies and individuals who wish to be among the first to buy these new products at the beginning while the production starts ramping up and the unit costs are higher.

The politicians also need to strongly promote the building and installation of wind and solar generators across the continent.  There are other clean electrical producing technologies that should be promoted with tax incentives too.  The more electrical production we have the easier it will be to supply the hydrogen needs to move to the hydrogen economy.  Directed tax breaks to clean power source companies and their products, and the directed removal of tax breaks to fossil fuel providers, is part of the way to begin the process.

When the politicians recently spent the $160 billion on the so-called economic stimulus package I believe they said it was about 1% of the US tax base.  A country should spend some of the money they demand from their citizens on the country.  Can you imagine what would have happened if the politicians had said to the US public that they have set aside $160 billion dollars to refund 100%, or even only 75% or so, of the full purchase and installation costs of  wind and solar electrical generators upon them becoming operational?  Companies would have immediately ramped up production, and other people would have begun new companies, and they would have instantly started hiring people to do the manufacturing, selling, training, installation and servicing.  Instead of first borrowing the money and then hoping something good happens after you scatter it around foolishly, the money would have had to have been spent first and would have already acted to stimulate the US economy before any of it was refunded.  Requiring the operational installation aspect would have ensured the bulk of the money would have been spent on stimulating the economy of the US, instead of stimulating the Chinese economy by borrowing money from them so the refund rebates could then be spent to buy more Chinese manufactured products (Walmart type purchases).

The world’s governments have supported the fossil fuel economy long enough.  The problem was that electricity and combustion came online around the same time and gas power had the advantage of more quickly accessing the power and more mobility using the technology of the day.  Now that we have so much more knowledge our leaders should be acting to direct us along the intelligent path instead of continuing to promote this insanity.  Casually poisoning our water and the air we breathe is race insanity.  When we grow up as children we learn things and change our ways to accommodate our new understanding so we can progress positively through life, like learning how to walk, talk, look both ways before crossing the road, ride a bike, etc.  Why do we stop this intelligent way of progressing through life once we become adults?  It is time to take our learning and apply it to progress to a positive future for us all and, if we truly do love our children, to a positive future for all our children’s future generations as well.

America was built and became great by exercising God’s principles, but now the US has thrown away those principles.  All things contrary to God’s ways are promoted by the politicians and the courts.  The whole community used to come together to help their fellow citizens, like in gathering together for home and barn building events or to bring in the crops of anyone in need.  They used to act like family as the whole community raised all the children and were not afraid to rebuke them when they were wrong.  But today it is all about catering only to the selfish me because I have the right to seek all my pleasures above the rights or concerns of everyone else.

The citizens who demand the country’s legal rights are destroying the country that has given them those rights and freedoms.  People from other countries come to America and then demand the country change its laws to cater to their ways because they are a minority who should have special protections and considerations that should trump the rights of all the rest of the people that make up the country.  Lies and deceit are used to promote black pride as not being racism, even though white pride is recognized as the racism it is, which further divides brother against brother.  Loud minorities demand we should throw away the values of the majority to cater to them including changing the meaning of family and marriage because they say we should not discriminate against them, yet their demand is that the majority be discriminated against in their family and religious values to cater to them.  Instead of concentrating on our commonalities we seek only to promote our differences.  Instead of a melting pot to common unity, every difference among the people is promoted.  Discrimination to separate us out from each other is encouraged instead of concentrating on our commonalities to strengthen and protect our communities.  We are not promoting one people indivisible under God.

America is lost.  The US is actively engaged in its own destruction.  Abiding by God’s principles allowed the US to become a great country and gave the people the freedoms they now have.  Throwing away those principles to cater to individual selfish greed is causing the country to fail.  Man made legalese deceit and pretense is the force shaping America today.  Look around you at all the threats to the US and the world.  Bowing down to the democracy and capitalist gods is destroying families, communities, countries and the planet as a whole.  I have my democratic and capitalistic rights to seek all my pleasures and profits regardless of whether it causes large numbers of people to suffer or even to eventually die is the religion they follow.  This is their freedom guaranteed by our democracy they say.  Individual freedom without responsibility is the path America promotes today.

We are not acting like a people unified under a common purpose to promote a better life for us all but are instead acting like greedy selfish individuals.  God warned us that if we leave his path to follow our carnal desires then we will fail, but God has no place in America today so we will continue to blindly do as we please right up until the end.

Why is it that when blacks vote over 90% based on race it is called pride but if the whites did the same thing it is called racism?

Catering to people who are constantly promoting the race difference between us is racism.  Imposing quotas based on race is racism.  We denigrate all blacks by implying that they are less then white people when we enforce quotas to hire them based on their race instead of their intelligence, experiences, or ability.  Why should white racism be promoted under the pretence of correcting for the black racism of the past?  Racism cannot be stopped if all we are doing is changing the group that we are currently promoting racism against because all this does is fan the flames to further encourage race based hatred.  And why should we punish a white person for something he/she was not involved in years ago and pretend we are making up for a previous injustice?  Abusing an innocent person or group today does not make up for the abuse of a different innocent person or group years ago.  Going after people and companies that promote racism hatred is slow but the only real way to fight racism.

Can you imagine what would happen if a group tried starting a White Entertainment Television or otherwise promoted any white race based group?  It is time the Media and politicians quit catering to the blacks who promote race differences but they are too afraid of the power those people have to organize large groups of racists to protest against them, and because they have convinced themselves that helping promote black racism, that they call black race pride just like white racists call their ways white race pride, somehow helps the poor pitiful blacks.  If they really want to help the poor mostly black neighbourhoods then they should be race blind in their group names and simply help the whole neighbourhood of people instead of encouraging continued anger among the races by those who are seeking to blame and strike out at someone for their suffering.

Using the past as an excuse to continue racism in a new form doesn’t help any of us.  There is no excuse to promote a group separate from the rest of us based on colour.  We should be promoting how we are all alike, which is our desire to be able to enjoy a decent life and raise a happy family, not looking to separate us from each other based on such pitiful differences like skin colour.

If I have offended any racists, of any colour, tough!

The US economy is tanking because of things like the large number of unemployed and underemployed, the recent housing mortgage fiasco, the weakening dollar, and higher oil costs.

How do the US leaders address these many threats?

They give a little of the people’s money back to them to pretend they are doing something to stimulate the economy, bail out the first big economic powerhouse that falls, then scatter more borrowed money around while lowering the interest rate to make the dollar even less attractive on the world market.

The country has a problem?  Throw more money around.  The future looks so rosy now.

If we do not produce, what props up the dollar’s value?

The $160 Billion could instead put tens of thousands of people to work in manufacturing and installing non-oil power generation systems across the country.  A byproduct of this kind of action will be a major reduction of US foreign oil dependency while helping the fight against global warming as well.  Add a general infrastructure stimulus bill as well and the country will be far better off then it will be after giving a small amount of money to individuals.

We have the resources.

We have the technology.

We have the unemployed.

We need to reduce money and resources leaving the US and create wealth right here.

Where is the political action?

I have posted some blogs, on sites like the two below, addressing a path the politicians could take to stimulate and protect the US economy.  Sadly, I doubt the politicians will change their blind course and the US will continue its race towards a major economic crash.

The security of the country is the first job of our governments, yet our governors have superseded the steering of our lives to anyone with enough wealth.  All the wealth of the country is being sucked out to appease the greedy, including our jobs now being sucked out of the country, because no one is responsibly governing the direction of our country.  The politicians make promises to help and protect us yet allow the private sector to govern our future once they get elected to office.  I thought they applied for the job.

Our lifestyle requires lots of power and there are plenty of local power sources for us to tap but our non-governing governments have failed to steer us to this security.  Wind power use had been around for centuries, and electrical production through the simple rotation of a magnet to induce current has been known for over a century, yet our direction for power sourcing was steered under the control of the wealthy and shortsighted to the massively polluting use of coal and oil.

Our whole lifestyle is under threat by the greedy and shortsighted.  The people are the country and are deserving of basic human protections.  All our communities, large and small, need to be defended because together they make up the country.  If these communities have their own power sources then foreign powers couldn’t shut them down so easily.  Our cities cannot survive without electrical power.  Defense is first and foremost the protection of these many communities that make up our country, because if they fail then the country fails.

Guess what?  Providing this security will give lots of local people employment, which is also needed for a country’s security.  If we people don’t work then the country creates no wealth to do anything, and look at how much we owe now with so many of our jobs lost too.  Free trade is stupid trade, whether within the country or outside sourced.  Capitalism has to be controlled or the vile and shortsighted will cause destruction to the people and the planet that is why we elect people to govern us in our democracy.

Open Letter to all our politicians

I have no personal political desires.  I just want our “leaders” to lead responsibility.  If you think the following makes sense, then please help to promote it.

Subjects Involved:
Security
Tax Revenue
Health and Environment
Energy Production
Natural Resources
Education
Employment
Aboriginal Reserves

The people are the greatest assets any government has, and you all claim you can lead us responsibility, so please read this and consider the logic.

Never mind where these ideas came from, or who or which group first somehow presented them somewhere in an acceptable format with the currently recognized credentials.  If my logic is sound then promote the concept.

There are a number of concerns, both globally and locally, that are in immediate need of addressing.  Energy, employment, and the environment are some biggies.  Our future is at stake.

Everyone sitting in the legislature is a government elected person and should show respect for the people they represent, above and beyond any petty party bickering.  If a concept is valid if you controlled the government, then it is valid and should be promoted regardless of your position in the government.  Our government is not just the leading party, and you are all responsible to us people first.  Please do your job with a semblance of respect to the people who trusted you to your job.

Governing is not allowing the private sector to decide the future.  The private sector is supposed to operate under a government directed framework that politicians create.  You encourage or discourage what business practices you choose, by making laws and investing in fields that you believe will promote a certain future.  That is your job.

You can insist companies operate responsibly and not have to worry about a loss of jobs, if you’ll just pay attention to current technologies and any new information as you guide the private sector along certain paths.  Good ideas should be promoted and the bad ones reigned in.  You have the power and responsibility to do so.

Big businesses destroy people and property or do other nasty things, if given free reign.  A lot more jobs in North America are currently under threat as big business chases the almighty buck.  The government cannot rely solely on the private sector for all new job creation.  Your job is also to encourage economic and job growth by promoting private sector activity that is of benefit to the country.  The people are the country.

China and India are taking our jobs, fuels and resources.  We have also exported our poisonous ways, as the pollution in China’s cities now shows.  By promoting clean energies and practices here, we can export a superior way of life and create many new jobs for everyone.

Power requirements throughout the world will continue to increase.  This is not a bad thing.

We are vulnerable to environmental and economic threats because we rely so heavily on oil.

When most of you think of wind turbines, you probably think of large clumped together windmills in “farms”.  Now consider smaller building size units that people could buy to power their home or business.  Remember these can be slightly over sized in power and connected to the grid to help meet our grid needs, and they offer personal security against large blackouts as well.  Are you starting to see a good concept to promote?  Maybe the auto manufacturers would like to keep their North American employees employed and use them in the mass assembly of some of these generators.

Easily transported and installed wind and solar power generators are a good product for the world, and mass production of these generators will create assembly, installation and service jobs.

Aboriginal reserves, and many other poor or isolated villages around the world, could benefit from clean local power.  Clean water is easier to get and use if you have a power source.  Powered irrigation from wells makes it easier to grow food.  Power provides light, refrigeration and many other benefits.  These villages can’t afford the huge wind generators, and most times the equipment to help in the installation of such large heavy structures is not available.

The first job of elected representatives is the protection of the people, and people are the government’s greatest asset.  All governments should be eliminating poisonous and destructive methods of doing things to protect the people.  That includes directing how things are being done in the private sector (governing?).  You cannot continue to cater to the greedy and destructive big business practices in the hopes that they’ll always supply your government with income and employ your citizens, especially as they have demonstrated their will to destroy and poison our environment then run off with our jobs to other countries in their chasing a quick profit.

Many more people are employed by small employers.  Being able to buy smaller power sources, that last for years, will allow many more people to create and to start local businesses.  Businesses and families would not have to worry about rising fuel costs or disappearing fuel sources caused by market instabilities if they had their own power sources.

Drilling out and burning oil is environmentally stupid, and turning food (corn) into fuel to burn is just as stupid.  Speeding the turning of the stocks, grasses and other organics into methane (which is a vicious greenhouse gas that’s naturally released by decomposition anyway) to be burned instead of being released into the air makes more sense.  Cities, farmers and some businesses could use methane generators to help meet their power needs.

Don’t worry about potentially losing oil and gas tax revenues, because it’ll take years to switch over and our fuel reserves will always be in demand.  Oil is also a commodity for products, other then just wastefully burning it up.

There is a lot of talk about nuclear power plants being built, and coal plants being closed instead of redesigned to take advantage of current clean burning technologies, and of turning food into “bio” fuels.  What are you politicians thinking?  Create a poison that will remain a threat for tens of thousands of generations of people, ignore a valuable power resource, and take the food out of the mouths of people to boot?

We are informed our politicians will throw billions of dollars into promoting those evil pursuits, under the false guise of being environmentally responsible and needing to meet our future power needs.  Maybe we should have an intelligence requirement for anyone seeking to become a politician.  We don’t allow doctors, or people in other trades, to practice without first having some semblance of knowledge of the subject matter.

Using the above mentioned power sources will help bring about hydrogen fueled vehicles quicker as well.

We as a race, currently, seem to be as dumb as sticks.  What other species destroys the environment it needs to survive in?  But that is what you our elected representatives are allowing big businesses to do.  We voted for you people.  So we are the superior intelligent animal eh?

We have a chance to lead the world in responsible living.

Sincerely,
Joseph

The politicians seem to think that simply scattering a bunch of money around will promote the "US economy".  Too bad politicians don't have to pass a competency test before they get their hands on taxpayer money.  Simple logic proves how reckless their action was.

If a pile of checks are sent out, then a huge chunk of the money will go to food and inexpensive goods (Walmart type stores), and to expensive life-style buys (overseas supplied too).

The employment in other countries will be given a massive assistance by the purchases coming from the “US Stimulation Package”.

The politicians would have done better by, for example:

1          Giving out $billions in food stamps that get spent locally and help the poor.  This returns more than $1 into the community for every food stamp dollar spent.

2          Setting aside $billions more to extend Unemployment Insurance that also helps locally.  Include retraining assistance to help them get employed into a changed work environment.

3          Include using $10-20 billion for maybe clean fuels research, or redesign rebating to clean up dirty coal power plants.

4          And by taking a whopping $100 billion of it, and telling the American public that the money is up for grabs for the full cost of their purchase of installed operational wind and solar power collectors, of all sizes, on a first come first served basis. Exclude large power farms from this stimulation package but not the bulk purchases of with-in city limits units that cities may wish to install.  Many American people, cities and companies would jump in to get their chunk of the $billions.

Engaging these few things would cause instant effects and the money will be invested to promote the “US economy”.

The continuing effect would be us becoming world leaders in these and other clean power technologies, many Americans finding permanent good employment, the US becoming a little more energy secure, and investment in the US stock market would also be assisted upward by the effect of American companies gearing up for the manufacturing, sales, and educational needs.

Giving the poor, unemployed, and low paid people a few dollars won’t help them or the economy.  The permanent availability of many good paying jobs would be better for them and the current middle class.  Sort of like being given a fish as opposed to being helped to become a fisherman.

There are several threats to North America that need attention, and a solution to ease all of these problems is technically sound.  The physics have been proven, and used, for decades.

Energy independence is a necessity for the security of North America.  Security is not just about bombs and borders.  Our civilization and economy are under threat from actions by big businesses, other countries and radical groups.

Pollution has to be brought under control. The private sector cannot be allowed to continue to poison our planet for their quick dirty profit.  Man-made greenhouse heating is a byproduct of our unrestrained polluting.

Local employment needs a boost.  Too many of the good paying jobs are leaving North America.  We need new products to manufacture and sell.

Those who don’t want change would like us to ignore a more intelligent way of living, and they are benefiting at our expense.  The government is afraid of change in case they may lose a tax source, and they receive a lot of their political money from big businesses.

The U.S. will spend more than $1 trillion in Iraq to, supposedly, secure America’s oil energy needs.

Now consider a product that can address all these needs.  A product that would create jobs ranging from mining and smelting to sales, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and education.

We have all heard of the large amount of energy that will be saved by switching to energy efficient light bulbs.  Well consider if wind generators, of many sizes, are promoted to be built and installed everywhere.  Homes and businesses could have generators to assist in meeting their energy needs that are also hooked into the grid to add to our available power, and these will protect us locally during blackouts.  A single backup gas generator doesn’t supply the full power requirements of a home, nor does a single wind or solar collector need to.  Cars were not as energy efficient when first introduced as they are today, and these power collectors will also improve in efficiency over time.

Farmers in need of extra income could receive assistance to install the larger wind generators, one or more, on their property instead of gearing up to use food crops as fuel sources.

The government should aggressively promote hydrogen powered vehicles also, by ensuring hydrogen can be accessed as easily as gasoline is.

Oil has pollution in everything about it.  Look at the roads after a rain and oil is everywhere.

The government must stop catering to big businesses and wasting tax money to prop up the oil industries, and must instead address the threats to our planet and economy.

The political candidates should promote a path into our future, not just babble vaguely about working on these threats to North America.  The economy, energy and pollution must be addressed now.
