You’re important no matter your station in life
Even if not rich or famous at all
You are more rare than the hardest to find jewels
And you can’t be replaced because you’re one of a kind
So who will you be because this is your choice
Will you choose to be trash more worthless than dirt
Maybe you’ll choose to be someone of value
But it’s all up to you because you control you
No matter what anyone says or does to you
You are the boss of the one who is you
Will you make people smile and bring cheer to their day
Or just be another pain and irritant to us
Did others who hurt you make you feel good
Or those who treated you like trash earn your respect
You get to choose the character you’ll be
Remember, only you can be you
