Everytime the corps blames muskrats for busting levees, I'm reminded of a song that haunts me to this day from my High School Daze.

 

 

 

 

Now you too can be haunted

I like your sundial! Have one just like it!
It tells me the time is ripe for mentioning something positive. If it wasn't for the Muskrats, we wouldn't be witnessing the fine work of the Army National Guard in places like Winfield. Did you see that new levee we had on yesterday that they quickly built. It's technology that came out of the war in Iraq.

It's word association time. Every time I hear the word 'muskrat' my brain says, "Capt'n and Tenille'!

Haunt wouldn't be the word that I would choose...more like 'torment'.

I know all about what the rats can do...our local golf course has some small ponds and the Muskrats have drained them.....they are also hard to get rid of...maybe if I play that song they will come out and dance instead of digging holes...!

The only thing more disturbing than that video is the fact that I knew all the words...and I was a Zeppelin fan!!!
