Emily Riesen is a Southern Illinois 22-year-old who's now living in Nashville.

"My heart's In St. Louis" is just one of the many songs she created and performs.

Her uncle shot this music video. Is it just me or does this young woman have undiscovered talent? I called her yesterday to ask for permission to use her St. Louis song during the Friday newscast. She was so sweet, saying yes!

Pretty Girl with a good voice...... The song did not do much for me though.... Something I would expect to hear on a adult contemporary station and they all sound alike to me after a while....... A lot of what Carrie Underwood is doing now bores me also.....
If she is in Nashville she needs to let some "Kick Some Buns Country" fly......

pretty girl, pretty voice...I enjoyed the song and thought it very good. I, myself , am suprised we havent picked this up and heard it more....good St Louis song....course it is about a man in St Louis not really that St Louis is what she is missing...its the man. But a good song still and I would think being sad and longing for the man....a good country song. I think she has a good voice for sure and I like the song and I enjoyed listening to it. I think my daughter would like it....thx!

Well, when a voice can put chills down my spine tells me the gift is strong in that one.

She could have added more St. Louis scenery like the arch

Hey Pertz!

She is a beautiful young lady, filled with talent! I agree with Perky when I get a chill I know the voice is strong and real!

It would speak volumes if she had more scenery from St. Louis is it!

I can see this done with a Gretchen Wilson style and becoming a huge hit! Put a little kick in it! She definately has talent!!

godd sing but... she could of had some more st.louis scenery in it..... but over all... i give it a thumbs up!!!!!!! :)

Thanks for the feedback. I agree...Kick it up a bit and put in a dude walking around St. Louis with a series of women under his arm.
We could use Mr. Wildfire as the model!
