My mom is in her last stages of this terrible disease


I am goin through a horrible time with her and she is on hospice now

totally helpless

Can't walk, can't feed herself, can,t talk hardly and can,t do anything.

It is the worst thing a caregiver will EVER go through!!!!!!!!!

My dad is in early stages of it..... He is 83 and can't be left alone at all..... I am hoping that they are correct with some of the theories...... I do the Jumble, Crossword, and the Crypto in the daily paper and have been for about 10 years..... They say that this kind of activity will reduce your chances by as much as 50 percent.... I hope so for I am a baby boomer and so are you Pertz........

i had to watch my father at home sometimes after the nurse left so it was an ordeal. one time he called me from downstaires and i got out of my bed and fell down the staires because i was rushing to see what he needed.

We have to

1.Feed Her
2.Bath Her
3.Put her hospital gown on her
4.Wash Her Bottom
5.Put Diapers On Her

A 76 year old newborn but grown up

Just letting you know a little bit about this HORRIBLE disease!

i did not have a life and still do not have one because i have to watch over my mother now. last week she fell asleep with something cooking on the stove and almost caught our house on fire.

she doesn't even know who we are sometimes

she thinks my dad is her dad and I am her cousin which i am really her daufgter

she has NO MEMERORY AT ALL

well my brother helps out but my sister does not have anything to do with it so we left the house here in me and my brothers name and that is finalized now. also we put the house overseas in me and my brothers name only.

When she looks in my eyes and I cant hardly say this without crying and I am crying as I type this It is like looking at my little girl even though she is my mother. \
she is like taking care of my little girl!

I had a uncle who had it OMG it the worst thing for everyone to go threw..

Oh he done some funny things because of it but still it hard on the whole family...

Worst thing was he was always tearing everything appart..Th phone the plumming everything..

He was the family fix it stuff after he retired from post office..So if he was not watched he take stuff appart...
