Stuck In My Head

... so on the way in to work this morning, I heard the Violent Femmes "Add It Up" and now it's stuck in my head!

It's one of those songs that does that to me every time.

My mom always hated "Another One Bites The Dust" because she couldn't shake it for days.  I would torture her with it when I was a kid.

When someone starts humming a song that I know will get stuck in my head, my way of getting them back is with another song that can get stuck in your head ... "If You're Happy And You Know It Clap Your Hands!"

What songs get stuck in your head and stay there for days?

There are LOTS of songs that get stuck in my head for days!! LOL

Many get stuck in my head but I hate when I find myself singing and realize it is a commercial jingle.

I listen to so much music for many hours a day it does not happen to me. It did when I was younger, always the last one I heard until I heard another song.

I heard a Rory Gallager song last week that got stuck there for a couple days. Brute, Force,and Ignorance is song I hadn't heard in awhile. I need to fing that CD. LOL

Can't say I've ever heard that one Jill; although I probably have:) I'm with Stephan...I listen to so much music; and usually; just the last one I heard is the one that will stick with me; for a lil while. Ok VBallR...thanks ALOT!!! 'That' one ALWAYS sticks in my mind...gawd!!! grrrrr!!!

Just let me read or hear ANYTHING and a song pops in the head...You're "Web Chick", right?-I see your name, thus "Chick a Boom (Don't ya Just Love It.)" The title of your blog is "Stuck in Your Head"-I think "Stuck in the Middle With You" and "Over my Head" songs...It's a curse!

Cricky....funny!!

I have had "Dirty Laundry" stuck in my head since we were at the Eagle's last weekend for the blog party. "Kick 'em when their up, kick 'em when their down", over and over again, just that line. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

cricky ... I understand completely!

I've always said "Everything's a song and most things are movies" ... meaning most things can make you think of a song, or a line in a song ... and you can also usually think of a line from a movie, too!

BTW ... I brought my iPod today! (so I can get the "stuck" song out of my head!)

Its usually a song I havent heard in along time, and never can remember what song it is, just parts... drives me CRAZY!!

I have songs that overlap. I will have a song stuck in the noodle and will try to get rid of it by playing a song of a different style. Then both get on the brains jukebox.

the song difficult to cure by rainbow played at thier last concert but the song does not appear on any albums. i never heard the song but i keep searching for it...weird

Michelle, yes *that* one is un-stuck ... didn't listen to the radio this morning, so there's not one in there from listening this morning.

I'll hear something from a commercial or Glenn's Song of the Day and I'll get something else in there ...

... always got music in my head!
