I am THE "Jean in Union" who has been reporting the weather from Union going all the way back to when Mike Smith was the Chief Meteorlogist at KTVI.
For 12 years I wrote a column in the Washington, MO paper called the "Missourian."
I'm a retired federal employee, and my husband, Herb, is an official co-op weather observer for the National Weather Service responsible for gathering and reporting daily weather information for the City of Union.
I belong to way too many clubs to mention here. I serve as secretary of the Optomists; vice chairman of the Union Planning and Zoning Commission; and on the board at the senior center in Union...to name a few. In my spare time I'm also an artist and dable in everything from water colors to oil and pastels.
