Shame on Fox 2 gatekeepers for airing racist comments. To have them on the internet is understandable, however it is another thing to have to explain to small children why somone would refer to black people as a moral animals. We have to block our children from looking at garbage on tv constantly. Who would have thought I would have to shield her from comments made on the morning news. Thanks Alot:)

Channel Five seems to be more mature and responsible in their report practices...gatekeepers change the channel and take some notes. I am going to take a break from 2 for a while. I will see you later maybe I will return when you put my favorite personality , Tim Ezell on the news desk. PEACE

 Indeed, this horrible atrocity has occurred in our beloved community. Let us not succumb to the tension that this occurrence has caused and break the ties of unity, of friendship, of love, and of a sound-judgment. I was mortified when I sat down to watch Fox 2 this morning and listen while Shawn Lindsey read a racist blog on air. I had my 15-month daughter in my arms and my heart dropped. Is this the community where I am going to be raising my child. Who would stereo-type a race of people because of the insensitive remarks of  a few black people.  The comment said that maybe black people should be viewed as amoral animals. If that be the case an “amoral animal” changed the face of history by rallying for civil rights and speaking out about non-violence.  To the individual that made that racist blog…I will pray for you because it is obvious that you have no FAITH or education. I say this as I turn the other cheek and offer you the other to cheek to slap if you will

The dousing of Dezir in the Cardinals locker room was absolutley hilarious. Dezir is usually so poised in full "reporter" mode that it was kinda funny to see him getting a champagne shower. I am really looking forward to the Cards beating the Mets so ...maybe...just maybe we can see Dezir get doused again!!!

* P.S ...if you noticed Maurice wore a rain poncho when doing his interview!!! Dezir may want to take some notes. LOL

The tazing incident was ridiculious! It should have never happened in my opinion. In my post I am not going to focus on the tazing I am going to focus on the parent. He was setting a horrible example for his child to follow...besides embarrassing him and ruining his fun.

I don't think this is a race issue so please...lets not go there!

I am currently expecting my first child and my husband and I are taking a prepared childbirth & infant care classes because we want to be fully educated when it comes to doing what is best for our child.

I think people should have to take a PARENTING 101 course before having children. I think it would make a world of difference. I know I am dreaming BIG....but what if!

This morning Randy and Kevin did a story on regarding the speculation that Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake may perform together again for publicity...because they both have new albums coming out.

How could this be when Janet said she felt slighted by Justin because he didn't keep up a strong alliance during the Superbowl fiasco? (Oprah show)

This is gossip but I heard that MTV is boycotting her new video"So Excited". Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Are we experiencing Indian Summer or is this just crazy/unpredictable St. Louis weather at its best!

I remember as a child hearing the weather guys talk about indian summer and I don't know why I was so fascinated with the phenomena. It may have something to do with loving autumn!

Why is Indian Summer called Indian Summer?

In regards to the letter distributed by the intermediate school in Wentzville...am quite offended!
I don't feel why it was necessary to single out a African-American students and students that recieved free lunch. This storyhas encouraged me to contact the MO Department of Eduction to determine if the wording of this letter was appropriate. I truly feel that the leadership in the school and the school district has failed the student, the parents, and the community.

As educators and leaders they should be setting an example and what kind of message are they sending in that letter?
The wording of the letter should have been selected more carefully! Their actions clearly show
- that the gatekeepers of the Wentzville don't care how the wording would affect the students.

_ They are making a statement about the students from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

I feel this letter opens opportunities for these students to be ridiculed by their classmates and I think it will also cause division among students and the school community.

The PR rep in the package said that they had to create this letter by federal or state law...if so why is this the first case that has arisen?

This is my first posting. I love this new website it is clean and easy to navigate. I watch the morning show faithfully and I finally decided to visit the site after hearing every anchor repeat it over and over and over and over! I think they were sending a subliminal message!
I am 7 months pregnant and I am looking forward to having my little princess soon. I am in the excited, but irratable stage. This is our first child so I don't know what to expect!
I have been reading alot of books dealing with pregancy but I am still antsy! I need a carmel apple stat!
