That's the word today from the city of Hazelwood.
A Sacramento-based company wants to redevelop all 155 acres - it will include 11 new buildings. What do you think of plans for the Ford plant?

The Warrenton School Board has banned the use or display of cell phones during school. The superintendent had wanted the phones classified as contraband - just like drugs or weapons. Why? because bullying and cheating have gone high-tech.

A new survey done by St. Louis-based Scottrade says most of us would **not** go on a spending spree with the money from our tax rebate checks?
Which begs the question-- what would **you** do with that money if someone handed it over to you today? Would you save it, pay off debt-- or spend it?

Bad Grades? No Driver's License

A Missouri lawmaker is proposing legislation -- if kids get bad grades or they decide to dop out -- they *cannot* get a driver's license until they're 18.
There are some exemptions -- if you get a GED, etc.
But what do you think about that?

The Rockwood School District is installing more than 360 cameras on their buses-- one camera will monitor children as they get on and off the bus and the other camear will videotape the students as they ride to their destination?
Do you think it's money well-spent?
Some argue the money might be better spent on seat belts.
Others say it's needed -- bus drivers need an extra pair of eyes.

To Smoke or Not To Smoke?

Now that the smoke has cleared on the smoking ban in Illinois - bar, casino and restaurant owners are getting fired up! They say it's affecting them in the pocketbook!
For example, both the Argosy Casino in Alton and the Casino Queen revenues have dropped 21 percent from January 2007 to January 2008.
The smoking ban went into affect January 1, 2008

Fetus Dies, Mom Charged

At the end of last year - a Lincoln County woman was charged with involuntary manslaughter for giving birth to a baby that had ben poisoned to death by alcohol.
Now, it's happened again.
A St. Louis woman is charged with involuntary manslaughter - Her doctor induced her - because there was no signs of fetal life at 39 weeks - the baby was stillborn and tested positive for methamphetamine!
What do you think of the 'involuntary manslaughter' charge in this case?

Do you think 16 is too young to drive?
A Missouri lawmaker is proposing this: he wants to raise the driver's license age from 16 to 18? Do you have any thoughts on that? Is the 16 year old in your life ready to drive?
Today, we talked with some people in their young 20's -- who actually **liked** the idea. I wonder if they would have liked it a few years back?!

No More Cussing!

A St. Charles City lawmaker wants to ban cussing, table dancing and drinking games on the city's historic main street. That means customers can't use obscenities - and it also can't be heard in the music that's played inside some of the venues on Main Street.
Some business owners think his proposal goes to far - we'll talk with one of them on Wednesday morning around 7:20 on Fox 2 News in the Morning.
