when my 12 yr old was young....he could clear out the shop! He would just scream! He didnt like the clippers...when she went to scissors only he was ok. We did scissors only for many years. Our beautician was patient and great. Meanwhile he would just scream....

Realized later it was the loudness of it near his ears that scared him....

i can tell ya tons of them... and smarties candies is a good way to get them calm down, most of the time, sitting on the parents lap, but there are some that make ya just work up a sweat..but if she has a seacret im watching... cause some are just hopeless... i cut a lil 8 month olds hair the other day with a clipper and edger and he sat and smiled at me most of it...lol

lol rosie...my youngest always LOVED having his hair cut! SOmetimes he would fall asleep while she was doing it....talk about differences bet. siblings!

I don't have any kids but my dog Willie mom tryed to cut his hair on her own and volenterd me to hold him..

He whent from sweet toto of Wizerd of Oz to Cujo in a split second..I was smart and let go and stood back..

But mom she keep trying and ended up with some brosews and a few screatches...

You think she was cutting his legs off or something the way he carryed on..

My mom used to set up a highchair on the front deck and try to cut my brother's hair.

He was very ticklish, and once she ran the buzzer over his neck....well, let's just say it led to a few very interesting hairstyles for him.
