I went to Chicago to see my daughters performance as Dorothy in the Wiz..and she did a great job. I was one proud papa. At one point during her final sond "Home" near the shows end..I was so over come I leaped to my feat and yelled. "You Go Girl"
She told me afterward she knew it was me and wanted to laugh, but did say it inspired her. It was a wonderful moment that brought tears to my eyes..
Moments like that make it all worth while.
They wouldn't allow camera's inside to tape it..I'll have to wait for the dvd.
But another of Ava's show for those of you who haven't heard her.
