There is a possibility for severe weather this upcoming week across the bi-state region as the low track is projected to move from the southern plains into the great lakes region that means we are most defintely in the warm sector with this storm system.  Temperatures should be in the low to mid 70's next tueday through thursday...... Severe weather is possible tuesday and again later in the week..........  This is still a ways out but the signs of severe wx across the area is becoming more likely. Sorry for the quick post but im in school. Im sure chris will hit on this with his new corner on monday, which I strongly suggest everyone check out........   Oh btw does anyone know anything about channel 3 here in IL, its located in Marion..... I will be job shadowing them April the 16th so just wondering... Hope everyone has a great warm, sunny, and dry weekend..

howdy doppler, I would assume by job shadowing, your talking about the weather dept. class act people down there at channel 3.

and actually doppler I'm doing the corner temporally since chris is out of town serving his country, I like the post. agree fully, I think thursday will be the bigger of the 2 days, with tornadoes very possible espically across the region. oh and where did you get your photos from? those all local shots?

My name is Reath and I'm 18 years old and I've been interested in the weather since I was hit by a EF2 Tornado in 1996. I attend Salem Community High School as a senior; everyone there calls me doppler. So I created a blog with that name. On the side I love takeing photos of clouds and lighting. I also enjoy writting reports on the weather and handing them out to my teachers and fellow classmates. And now blogging. Enjoy!
