Hellow everyone, its been a while.  Finally some sizable news to talk about as far as the weather is concerned.  Deeping low pressure system will reallly begin to take hold over the midwest.  Series of shortwaves will be brought into the region by this low and a strong jet.  Rounds of storms are expected, starting wednesday night and contiuning into thursday.  Still not convenced on a severe weather outbreak for our area wedsenday night however i can't rule it out for the fact that there's a strong wind profile developing across the region exspeacially on thursday.  So expect strong to possibily severe thunderstorms to affect the area wedsenday night and as thursday afternoon rolls around the final shot at storms will arrive with a storng cold front pushing into  a warm moist and very unstable atmosphere.  That bring us to the moderate severe weather threat for thursday; large hail damaging winds and yes; the possiblity is there for some tornadoes.

Stay alert to later forecast!

Wedsenday night- Showers and thunderstorms likely some strong to severe low around 64

Thursday- Brief break in the storms untill the afternoon then showers and thunderstorms likely with the threat of severe weather running high. Large hail damaging winds and tornadoes high around 80.

Looking forward to this storm system for it may bring some much needed rain.

I just hope that we have no severe weather. But, I've got my weather radio on alert mode, in the even that there is.

Great blog, and very precise. You should look into working with Dave Murray, it could be a boost for your career if you chose to be a meterologist.

Well not the damaging part of the storms if it hits populated areas but if no one is endangered I love it!

My name is Reath and I'm 18 years old and I've been interested in the weather since I was hit by a EF2 Tornado in 1996. I attend Salem Community High School as a senior; everyone there calls me doppler. So I created a blog with that name. On the side I love takeing photos of clouds and lighting. I also enjoy writting reports on the weather and handing them out to my teachers and fellow classmates. And now blogging. Enjoy!
