Deb's view ....

I am so aggrivated ... venting post here!  I drive highway 61 daily.  We live on the outskirts of Wentzville and when I take my daughter to school in the morning it is busy but not horrible.  When I come home from work it is like a nascar track!!!!!!!!  People are doing 70-90 MPH at least and it doesn't matter if your in the slow lane or not.  I have to turn off on the left (fast) lane and I think I will have a car up my ...errr... butt daily.  I personally think something needs to be done.  there is too much traffic on that road to have people going that fast.  I never see cops there, even though people have complained.  It's insane.

Sorry all, I just got home and needed to vent.  Hubby is working late ... lucky him!  :-)

I was wondering ... What is your biggest complaint about Doctor's offices? 
I was wanting to poll the bloggers to see what info I could take to work with me .... we are currently expanding and will take on a new ... updated .. phone system.  I think I will hear alot about the phone issues but please ... other feedback/questions are helpful as well!

There is a good snow going on in Wentzville. The streets and grass are covered. I posted some pics ... waiting approval. :-)

Isn't it interesting to hear your kids talk about school closings. There was a time that you were staring at the TV wanting to see your school name roll across or listening to the radio just biting your nails ... hoping and hoping.
WHEN DID IT CHANGE?
Now that we are parents my husband and I LOVE the snow but dread the morning school closings. Now with the next weeks weather looking iffy for almost the whole week, I think we will be dreading almost every morning.

Anyone else have those school closing blues????

Hey all!!! We just got back from a weekend in Kearney, MO (right outside Kansas City). WHAT A MESS!! The drive there on Friday midday was horrible and we thought about just turning around but by the time it was 40 MPH bad on highway 70 we were almost there. There were at least 20-25 cars that had spun out and 2 tractor trailers. It was to the point that the police just put caution tape around the cars and left them. I would say at leat 10 were on the roofs of the car/truck. It was interesting to come home today and see how many were still there. All I can say is THANK GOD for the cable in the medians otherwise it would have been horrible. Kearney was not that bad at all. There we got just sleet, no freezing rain. When we got back to our house in Wentzville the trees and all laying to the ground practically. Well, just wanted to share my trip with you. it was interesting and I don't think I will do it again with this weather. :-)

Just thought I would let you know that it has started sleeting in Wentzville and it's coming down pretty good too.
