I came on here looking for why the sirens are going off! I thought we were being attacked by all those terrorists in Iraq Bush is spending a TRILLION dollars to defend us against!

Now I know why they are going off!

Tornado sirens are good to have but i wonder why do some towns have them and not use them, for example my hometown, bunker hill, illinois.

I have four weather radios in my apartment and I carry one with me when I am out (it is in my police/fire/EMS scanner).

I also keep my managers/supervisors updated on severe weather at my office (I am consider the "weather guy" of Met Life Auto & Home, St. Louis!).
